Finally a jacuzzi for 2 that actually feels like the designer sat in it before installing it! Very comfortable to lie back in and watch the sun set over the harbour. Full marks on that one! Loved the great shower too. Our only regret was that it was too warm to turn on the fireplace. The king sized bed was firm but not hard and sleep was easy. There was a safe, microwave and fridge - makes some in-room catering possible. We slept with the balcony door open so we could enjoy the moan of the fog horns. We were told that the breaking waves on the rocks actually trigger the sound and that fishermen can tell the condition of the seas by the way the horns sound. We heard our neighbours a very little bit one night but they went quiet around 11 and that was all the other noise we heard. The hotel was mostly full so it wasn't that there weren't other people around. We simply didn't hear them. We liked the breakfast and we're not on holidays often or for long so a high fat muffin now and then doesn't worry us. We don't drink juice so that was a non issue. I agree with other reviewers that some of the furniture is in keen need of renewal. Sitting on the tired old sofa was like doing a deep knee bend. Such a large room should have a table and 2 chairs, particularly the way some people (like us) travel with not one but 2 laptops. Plus if there is an in room breakfast, it's nice not to have to eat it off your lap.

One warning: we tried to Skype a friend and the connection kept dropping out. We definitely noticed the signal was weaker in the middle of the evening when more people were in their rooms. So be prepared to wait.More
