This was a terrific B&B. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hosts were very accomodating to our needs. The breakfasts were fanastic!

We found Glass Beach Inn B&B on Trip Advisor and we couldn't have made a better choice. Nancy and Rich are lovely, kind folks who genuinely take an interest in you. They provided excellent accurate local information and made us feel welcome and taken care of. Nancy is delightful and bubbly with a ready smile who nips around and magically gets it all done without ever being intrusive and Rich has a soft spoken easy manner--they make a great team in the kitchen, too.
The house is tastefully decorated, immaculate and the bed, bedding and linens always fresh and so, so comfy. Our room was spacious with a full bathroom, large TV with cable, a fridge and wireless internet. I never needed to worry about laundry, either--it was an unexpected bonus to find my things crispy clean, folded or hung when I returned in the evening.
The house was perfectly located on the main street halfway between the beach and the center of town. It took me just 10 minutes to walk to the Living Light Culinary school I was attending during the month of October.
There's nothing pretentious about this B&B...just friendly, warm and welcoming--can't wait to go back!!!

Got to The Glass Beach Inn on friday just after Thanksgiving . Such a warm welcome from Nancy as we were rather late to check-in. She is a wonderful hostess , And this was like going to grandmas house . Nancy's family was there for the Holidays . You could not find a more endearing Family anywhere !.... They were all so gracious and thoughtful . Nancys' husband Rich is one of the best cooks on the coast .. The only problem I found was The breakfast that Rich Cooks was so good and waaay filling . complete with a choice of breakfast , and if chances are good, He may whip-up some Belgium Waffles .... Dang, we would leave the Inn to go out exploring and be so full It was hard to visit any shop that had anything to do with food ! The rooms are great , the beds are better than any that we have encountered anywhere !! And not only is Rich a great cook , but he has the best local information .. like places where locals visit ... don't miss " Sharons" in Noyo Harbor . Wow that was a great dinner !
We will return again , this is a destination.

My wife and I stayed for two nights over the Easter weekend. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed staying at the Glass Beach Inn. Rich and Nancy were perfect hosts, the breakfasts were perfect and we felt so at home there. We plan to return and bring the kids as this is certainly a kid friendly B & B (who knew there was such a thing). The location is great for "stumbling back from the North Coast Brewery" and Fort Bragg is a great town to spend time in (much less expensive than Mendocino - and in my opinion better). We spent some time and money going into the Posh Pauper and some of the other shops in town and had a great weekend. Nancy shared some of her favorite spots to visit and we took her advice and visited some of the sites she recommended. Next time we'll see even more. If you're looking for a great place to stay with gracious hosts and a great location stay with them. You'll be glad you did!

My wife and I stay here for 3 nights in July 2007. The Inn is very pleasantly decorated, we opted for a different room than we reserved (just to be a little further from the street noise). The Country Comfort room was very nice with a private bathroom, a very comfortable bed. There is no tv in the room, but the inn has a nice sitting area with a couch and tv where we relaxed in the afternoon. Rich and Nancy are great hosts (Nancy is very fun to be around, Rich is very friendly and a great cook.) The breakfast were wonderful with two options each morning. Popcorn, coffee and hot chocolate mixes are available all the time. Nancy was always able to suggest a great place for dinner (The Purple Rose mexican restaurant was on of our favorites! Be sure to check out 'the Glass Beach' which is a short walk from the Inn.
We would definitely recommend this Inn and will stay there again next time we're down that way

This was our first experience staying in a bed & breakfast. Glass Beach Inn made it a very pleasant one!!! The hosts are very gracious and pleasant. The beds were very confortable and for the first time coming home from a trip we did not say "I can't wait to sleep in our own bed". The breakfasts were delicious and service wonderful. What a way to start off our day.

Our children who normally do not want to stay anywhere that does not have a swimming pool, now say that Glass Beach Inn is their favorite place to stay and can not wait to come back again.

Visited the Glass Beach Inn in April 2006 with my 6-yr.-old son. Was a little nervous about staying at a B&B with a child, as sometimes he can get a little rambunctious and noisy. We had an amazing three days there! The owners, Rich and Nancy, were perfect hosts. There was just the right amount of chatting, the breakfasts were delicious, and the room was perfect. I chose "Gramma's Attic" which is the top floor room with two queen beds and a balcony. The room has a fireplace, a TV, a loveseat and a coffee table. Very cosy and homey, yet a very large room, and QUIET! I never heard any of the other patrons, even though the inn was sold out at the time. Once I opened the balcony door, however, there was a lot of street noise. We could barely see the ocean from our room (over the tops of buildings) in the distance. But the pros outweighed the couple of cons and I would definitely stay there again.
