This was my 2nd stay @ The Atrium. Stayed in the Hunting Lodge room (name may be off a bit). Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Room was very comfortable with easy access. We visited Glass Beach where my sister got so caught up climbing around in the rocks, we almost missed breakfast. Mary was sweet enough to call to see if she should hold breakfast for us. We missed the call but she had everything on warming plates for us and visited with us while we enjoyed the awesome full breakfast. 1st visit was during the summer while everything was blooming in the atrium. This trip was in March - not many blossoms but still lovely. Definitely recommend a stay and if you're a beach glass admirer, visit glass beach for sure.

Room Tip: Stayed in bird room on 1st trip (again, name may be off a bit) which was charming.

Just back from a drive up the California coast and stopped for two nights at the Atrium, in Ft. Bragg. Liked the descriptions on Trip Advisor, but had not made a reservation. We were lucky (they are often full)-- it helped that we arrived in the middle of the week. The Atrium looked as charming in person as it did on line -- two lovely houses joined by an inviting covered garden. Each of the rooms is decorated by theme -- we stayed in the “Nest” and it was delightful --comfortable bed, well appointed bath, care taken with details and amenities. Chocolates! Food was great -- full breakfast prepared by one of the two friendly innkeepers who gave us lots of suggestions for what to do in Ft. Bragg. We now plan to go back in July for the “World’s Largest Salmon BBQ festival” (who knew?) and were told we’d receive a return guest discount! Definitely the nicest BandB’s we visited on our trip -- we highly recommend.

Room Tip: If you like total quiet, ask for a room in the back or overlooking the garden.

my wife and I were surprised with a nights stay here by my sister in law. we had to call and arrange a later check in because we were spending too much time sightseeing :) the lady that runs the place (so sorry I've forgotten her name) was extremely accommodating. more than bending over backwards to assist us. when we finally arrived, she was just as gracious in person. she showed us the layout, took us to our room and answered all our questions. we stayed in the victorianna room. as others have said, this is a room that you can actually feel comfortable in!! 2 nice chairs, gas logs with a thermostat control, chest of drawers, great bed and nice sized bath room. not that I was there for TV watching, but it was college bowl season, the tv was a "tad" small (about a 12 inch maybe ) :o :) but it had all the channels one would need. nice view of the town and the pacific over the next row of houses. the room is right on the main road ,hwy1, but around 11:00pm the traffic quit and we actually slept with windows open.
breakfast was what ive come to expect in a B and B. made from scratch and excellent. I wish I could've had more, but she only makes enough for each occupant and I didn't want to eat somebody else's. I would highly recommend this place !!! loved it :)

Room Tip: street side rooms have road noise for a bit, but we had no problem sleeping even with the windows op...

This gorgeous inn was a pleasant surprise! We stayed here several nights to explore this part of the California coast. We went to the ocean and we went to walk among giant redwoods. We visited the local arboretum and drove to Mendocino. Our room at the Atrium was spacious, bright and comfortable. (A really good bed by the way.) The breakfasts were incredible. I like that they ask you what you want. It's surprising how many BnB's still do not. One morning we had hot cereal and fresh breads, another fresh eggs, turkey sausage, banana bread (I think I remember that correctly!) Everything was delicious and fresh.
We had several good dinners out. And we liked the laid back feel of Ft. Bragg. It's a great town to stay in if you want to see Mendocino and other popular places in the area and especially when you have a place like the Atrium to stay in. We definitely would recommend this to friends.

This place is amazing value. The rooms are tasteful. I get so tired of the lace-doily-on-every-surface B&B's. In The Atrium you can relax in your room without having to squint your eyes at the decor. The atrium is cute NOT cutesy.

The breakfasts were really amazing. This was not Costco muffins or re-heated, coagulated eggs. These people can cook! It was as good as a fancy restaurant. (Turns out one of the owners is a trained chef. No surprise.)

We went around the shops in Fort Bragg (best shoe store ever.) They do a nice Christmas parade. Very charming. We did a day in Mendocino and a day horseback riding in and around the beach. The B&B is close to everything. If this place were in Mendocino you would pay 3x as much...but not get 3x the value.

We would go back in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our stay at the Atrium Bed and Breakfast. It's location is convenient to the sea glass beach. The owners went above and beyond to provide information and advice about attractions and dining in Ft. Bragg. The breakfast provided was as good as any we've had at a bed and breakfast.
