I was on a tour and the tour company chose this hotel to stay in one night. The old saying that "you can't tell a book by it's cover" holds true here. You walk into the lobby and it looks like a 5 star hotel but that is where it ends. The rooms are old ,dark, and in need of repair. The bathroom is tiny. The beds offer no support. The bed covers are very old and worn. They offer breakfast.(yuk). A few choices of small muffins and warm, not hot coffee. If you care about where you spend the night, skip this place. I could not wait to leave.
The rooms "out back" were sub-par. My room was on the second floor of one of two aging hotel wings. There was no elevator, so I had to schelp my baggage up the outside steps, which were slanting downwards. The outside door to the wing was open day and night, which meant that anyone could enter the building without a key. The room had carpet that seemed dirty, walls that needed painting, and poor quality A/C. Overall, it was poor.
