Keeping in mind that this is not a full service hotel, its really a great deal. Its newer than the other hotels in the immediate area but is lower priced.
I went with the Jacuzzi Suite (everything else was booked), and took full advantage.
I was staying with friends, we walked over to chilies caught dinner and drinks, and walked back. We relaxed in the room since it had the tub and big tv.
Breakfast was convenient for taking off in early morning.
When we visit Yosemite next year we plan on staying here again.

After reading the positive reviews, I booked a Friday night stay in one of the suites. (I was travelling with my family.) We drove up from So Cal and arrived around midnight. Front desk person asked if my wife had already checked in. My wife was still in the car with the kids. They apparently had given away my room. They gave me another room which was near the elevators, but was too tired to complain. Walls are thin. Heard footsteps all night. After 5 hours of sleep, family went down and brought up breakfast which was ok. Everything was clean. I think because everything is new.

Next a.m. they did apologize and try to make amends, but was too little too late. What could they do as we were already checking out?

We stayed here as a launching spot for a trip to Yosemite. The hotel was new, quiet, clean and attractive, the beds were comfy and warm, the flat screen TV was great. Fresh cookies were waiting for us when we arrived. My daughter was especially happy to see an iPod dock in the room so she could recharge her dead batteries. Breakfast was basic and filled us up but could have been better.

Rates were pricier than most for Fresno but it was close to the freeway and had better reviews than other places. Several hotels, all fairly new, are within the same vicinity as this one. Chili's and iHop are within walking distance. Costco, fast-food restaurants and shopping are on the opposite side of freeway if you need to pick up anything.

Some booking sites tried to charge an extra fee for more than 1 person in the room.

We were passing through Fresno and stayed at La Quinta, based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. It did not disappoint! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was sparkling clean and the beds were so comfortable. We were on a very long road trip and this hotel was exactly what we needed to get a good nights rest.

The only thing that was wasn't right was the spa. Our kids wanted to go in the spa and we tried but it was very over chlorinated...so much that our eyes & throats were burning. So we went back to our room and let them play in the bathtub, no big deal. Other than that our stay was perfect!

Although more expensive than the other Fresno La Quinta, we took the advice of reviews on Trip Advisor and skipped the less expensive location. Reviews for this, new location were positive so we paid more and gave it a shot – turned out to be a good call. We stayed at the La Quinta for two nights, using it as a base for a winter drive through Yosemite. Located off the 41 freeway, it’s at the north end of Fresno surrounded by other hotels and medical offices. There is sufficient distance from the freeway; noise is not a problem. Interior hallways, workout room, business center and pool/hot tub (outdoor). Rooms are good sized and have a fridge, microwave, DVD player and flat panel high definition TV. Beds were comfortable. Wireless internet throughout the hotel and worked well. Free local and toll-free calls. Massaging shower head, towels were adequately soft. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion were provided from Bath and Body Works. Wall controlled heat & air conditioning. USA Today is available up front. The hotel was clean and felt safe – locked side doors, cameras outside. We brought our 70 lb dog – no problems. The do not charge a pet fee and there are no size limits. Plenty of grass outside for dog walks plus it felt safe walking her around the block. Staff was helpful. Breakfast (free) 6:30-9 downstairs was nice – had coffee, tea, decaf, a variety of fruit juices, scrambled eggs, sausage, milk, cereals, toast, bagels, English muffins, fruit, Danish, and a waffle maker (much more than we expected – better than buffets we’ve purchased at higher-end places). There’s an International House of Pancakes a football throws away and a Chili’s (an NFL Quarterback’s football throws away) just adjacent to the property as well. I would stay there again, especially after reading reviews about some other Fresno dog-friendly hotels.

This is a very nice hotel as it is brand new. In addition, they allow dogs to stay in some of the rooms, which were also extremely clean. We had a very nice stay in this hotel and would stay here again if we needed a place to stay in the area.

I had never stayed at a La Quinta before and wasn't expecting much but I was very pleased with the choice. I picked the hotel because I wanted to stay near the freeway for an early morning drive to Yosemite. The hotel is less than a year old so everything is new. In the room, the flat-panel TV, new beds, modern bathroom with Bath and Body Works toiletries, microwave, and refrigerator went well beyond my expectations. The only downside to the room was that the A/C was loud which I think is a white-noise solution for guests. You can't adjust the fan on the unit so the only option with the A/C is to have it off or on.

The free breakfast was nice with the usual offerings - waffles, toast, juice, yogurt, pastries, etc.

The hotel is located near a number of other hotels in this newly developed area.

I paid $130 (including tax) for a Saturday night stay in July.
