While traveling through California, we stopped at the Piccadilly Inn for an overnight stay. We had a large king sized room, with included a microwave, and mini fridge. Breakfast was include. And excellent. The buffet inclded eggs, sausage, potatoes along with muffins, fresh fruit, hot and cold cereals and a pancake maker. And hot and cold drinks. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We would definitely choose this place again.

We had a bad experience at a hotel in Modesto while following my daughters professional children's choir on tour in California. We needed to be somewhere between San Fransisco and Yosemite. We ended up finding Piccadilly Inn. What an awesome find!!!! The ladies at the front desk where so welcoming! We got into the room and it was HUGE!! There was a spot on the carpet, which was older, but the carpet wasn't sticky so we knew it was clean. The room didn't have a microwave which was a bummer. The bathroom door had some peeling issues. There was a huge party in the pool one evening which caused the pool to be closed around 7am when it was supposed to be open, which really I was happy that the staff realized the issue and was taking care of it even if it meant I didn't get to swim. Other than those things, our stay was great. The bedding was clean, the couch was clean, the bathroom was sparkling. The grounds, all 7 acres (which we walked), were very well maintained. The wifi was great. The breakfast was good too. We felt really safe on the property. Thank you to all the staff who were so friendly. The breakfast staff were so nice and helpful. We appreciate all that you all did to make our stay great!

Thank you to Misty and Vanessa (Catering) for a great day meeting for our American Business Women's Association Retreat! We had fresh danish and coffee for breakfast and wonderful Cobb salads for lunch in the Providence Room! We appreciate your hospitality and the great accommodations!

Hubby and I stayed here for 2 nights during our last minute 4th of July trip to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park (~1 hr 15 min. to Kings Canyon)! Came here to check-in right after coming back from Yosemite and fortunately Marvin was hospitable and made check-in easy. Tip: make sure to get your breakfast vouchers!

Exterior of the hotel is really pretty and it looks like they're doing an overhaul. Fortunately, we didn't hear any of the construction going on. maybe because it was a holiday weekend?

Our room was on the second level, which was painful considering we had just hiked 12 miles, but manageable-- thank goodness we are light packers. Interior of the room was nice. A bit dated with the carpet and furniture selection, but like I said, I believe they are doing renovation, so it may look completely different in a few months! The room comes with a separate vanity area, coffee maker, fridge, and tv. There was no microwave, but we didn't need one.

They offer a hot breakfast buffet and it's fantastic! Breakfast is eggs, sausages, potatoes, pancakes, and the usual cereal, toast, fruit, coffee & juice. They offer breakfast a bit earlier than other hotels (6:00-6:30 I believe) so that makes me believe they are probably more geared towards business people? People in the area were nice, and the surrounding area was also well lit.

There was a pool that was well loved and cleaned. We didn't swim in it, but the water wasn't too cold when I dipped my feet in.

Would definitely be our first choice when staying in Fresno again for national park hopping.

Decided to visit Yosemite last minute and this hotel is less than 2 hours to the south entrance. Front desk is friendly and helpful, but probably understaffed because the same staff came to check on the mini-frig. Hallway is dated and dim. But the room is spacious with newer furniture. Close to a lot of restaurant and stores. Be warned of construction near hwy 99. Will stay here again if I come this way.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from Shaw
