Cracked Pepper is a great surprise. Delicious food, friendly service, a nice atmosphere. Don't miss the Eggplant Napoleon, a Cracked Pepper specialty. If you're unsure, order one for the table and let everyone have a bite or 2. All the food is beautifully served and the wait staff is great. At the end of the meal, order the bread pudding. It's the best you're ever going to have. Again, maybe just one for the table. It's so rich, I doubt anyone could eat the whole thing....buy you'll try, I assure you!

Easily the best meal I've eaten i n Fresno. Beautifully prepared food and outstanding service. A bit pricy for Fresno, but well worth the price

How often does this happen in a restaurant? Not often but this time was a charm. We had not dined here in a long time and decided to try the new location. The restaurant is modern and appealing inside. The service, quality and presentation of food is great. Portion size was generous we thought. Beautiful salads. Two people had the rack of lamb, two had the halibut. Both were outstanding and done to perfection. We don't like our fish covered in sauces and this halibut was served on mashed potatoes with spinach alongside. Sliced sparagus and grape tomatoes topped the beautiful and firm Alaskan halibut. Desserts were wonderful (tiramisu, bread pudding and vanilla crème brulee) and enjoyed by all at our table. Our server Erin was outstanding. Only downside is the noise level, not deafening but not easy conversation either.

Have heard alot about this restaurant from friends. We were so impressed from start to finish. The service was impeccable, the food outstanding. They had just moved to their new location but there wasn't even a hint of problems adjusting to the new location. My only criticism is that it was the noise in the restaurant was more ttan I would have liked. I would have hoped for a quiet and intimate experience. It was not that, but the quality of the food and service made up for this.

We tried these first as an appetizer and loved them so much we went back to have them as a dinner entree on a night that we wanted a light dinner. They did not disappoint! Mussels, bread and dessert...it was fabulous and the service was attentive and friendly.
