The Eel River Cafe has been in business for at least 60 years. The neon sign of a chef flipping pancakes is possibly original to the cafe.
It used to be great for hamburgers and milkshakes and now under new ownership is spotless, and food and service is good. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, but prices are fair, wait staff is friendly and attentive and locals as well as travelers stop by.
Safe bet in Garberville.
