My husband and I traveled The Avenue of the Giants in Mendocino County, California from the north to southbound 101. At the south end is Graberville, CA. Unlike the little commercial areas on the Avenue of the Giants, Graberville, though a small town, comparatively is a thriving metropolis! When we finally found a place to park, we had a chance to consult Trip Advisor. My husband mentioned The Woodrose Cafe is right across the street...and voila! the website came up and The Woodrose Cafe is rated #4 in Trip Advisor.
The Woodrose Cafe is small with booths, tables and seats at the counter. It is open from 8 am to 2 pm for breakfast and lunch. It is a cozy, friendly place mixing travelers and locals.
The Woodrose Cafe has the best fresh brewed iced tea!
We shared the cafe salad and a fabulous chicken and avocado quesadilla. Both were very fresh and excellent! The salad dressings we chose tasted homemade...blue cheese and ranch...very good!! The ingredients in the quesadilla are fresh and delicious!!!
Once again, Trip Advisor reviewers come through again and we had a yummy lunch!!
