We stayed here in late July while we vacationed in Los Angeles. Most of visit was spent at the two Disney Parks. The hotel was comfortable and clean and attractive. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were high quality and tasty. We took advantage of the ability to buy the park tickets and park shuttle bus transport at concierge desk. Shuttle came frequently enough to make it convenient to travel to and from the parks. Hotel was a bit crowded at times and would overload elevator with guests, but we were on vacation so not in a hurry, sometimes chose stairs down (lower floor). Hot tub was nice as well. Highly recommend this hotel as an alternative to the official Disney resort. Much more value for your money.

Friendly and accommodating staff. The property was clean, quiet, and we very much enjoyed our stay! We would highly recommend the hotel! Breakfast is top notch....yummy omeletes and a wide variety of other items.

Stayed for five nights . Had really nice stay. We had two double beds for family of three. We managed fine but if you are six feet tall like my husband the double bed is small for two adults. The elevators are very busy on weekends so if it lands on your floor get on, it may not stop again for awhile. Staff are friendly and accommodating, the fresh fruit and eggs cooked to order are great. They have ART shuttle to Disney we just parked at Disney.

The staff here have your best interests at heart. Whatever they can do to make your stay better, they will do. They offered an extra mattress to make the pullout more comfortable, they accommodated us when our travel plans changed last minute and made the entire stay very stress free.

Been back to this hotel many times and each time I give it a 5 out of 5. Despite high expectations I continue to leave this hotel satisfied and with the intent on coming back again.

PROS:
The hotels exterior is immaculate and a welcome sight after a long drive, and the interior atrium extends the welcome indoors. If you have never been here before you will be delighted to find a safari-themed atrium in the center of the hotel, complete with waterfalls and a lion that comes to live once in a while. If you are here for a Disneyland trip then this is like an extension of Adventureland to start and end your day. The staff were all very friendly. There is a general store on the entry level that has all kinds of things from toiletries to energy drinks to souvenirs. The hotel is near Chapman Blvd which has a Target on the corner, plus a Von's a few blocks down. The hotel is conveniently located on Harbor a short drive from Disneyland. There is a Bank of America across the street. The hot breakfast is excellent. Always a large selection of hot items, and always cook-to-order omelets if you want to wait for it. The pool was large and they had plenty of pool towels available to use.

The rooms are spacious. We made use of the hide-a-bed and I was surprised to find the thing practically brand new and the mattress very clean. The kid had a great time sleeping on it. The TV has HBO and Disney channel available, though the picture quality was not HD. We had complementary wi-fi using AAA (book AAA room rate). You can also have free wifi if you are an AT&T customer (broadband customers for sure, for other services I don't know if you qualify) or HHonors member. The bed was very comfortable. The room's climate control worked well. We had an issue with it being very loud the first night. We told the front desk the next morning and after a day at Disneyland it was working perfectly for the remainder for the trip.

CONS:
There is a $12 a night fee for parking. Parking can be tight, but we were always able to find a spot. If you are not HHonors, AAA (and book AAA room rate), or AT&T customer then you have to pay for Wi Fi. I think this should be included at no extra charge. Paid peak-season pricing of almost $200 a night. I'm hoping the hotel was just really booked and that this is not a reflection of the typical pricing. At that price it is worth looking at other similar quality hotels, like Aryes Inn (the one by Honda Center). We were only here for a 3 night trip so we decided to pay the premium. If it were a longer trip I would have had to think about it hard, it was almost $50 a night difference compared to the other Embassy (further away) and Aryes. The decor in the rooms is a bit drab and seems outdated, though everything was in excellent repair. The hotel was very full the weekend we were there (I suspect a wedding) and we were on the 9th floor. With only four elevators to service 12 upper floors you may have to wait a minute or two during peak times (after Disneyland closes, and during breakfast service). Try using the ones on the north side (front desk side of lobby), they seemed less busy.

OVERALL:
While it is was pricier this time around, the hotel did not disappoint. It is always a great stay, even after all these years and having very high expectations. A credit to the hotel and staff.

Room Tip: Try calling and book in person. See if they will give you a better rate than what is offered online...

We are members of the hilton family and we choose to stay at this property as my children like their breakfast the best. I would say for this hotel does a fantastic job for the amount of guest they have each and every day. We found everyone very pleasant and helpful when it came to purchasing the shuttle passes for Disney and any other information we needed on the park itself. I think the only things I could mention is we were on the 14 floor and it was a bit warm. The beds are only double beds and they were not very comfortable. The room size is great and very clean. Will stay again.

Room Tip: Stay in a lower room they are cooler and they do have rooms that have the firework view if that is y...

Stayed at Embassy Suites Anaheim -South for a quick getaway. All was perfect. Morning breakfast was really good and the staff went out of there way to do anything you need. Front desk people were very friendly and check in was quick. The suite was spotless as were all the public areas in the hotel. The place was busy but not pushy. Well run hotel. Will foresure return.
