I noticed when the person ahead of me was checking in, the clerk walked away with their credit card and ID and went into an office nearby. They did the same with me. The room air conditioner was a window unit that was at floor level, so you had to crawl on the floor, under a table, to operate it. That would get old for a longer stay, I was there only one night. The room itself was rather large, clean, and comfortable.
