Guests are invited to bring a picnic or purchase light deli items from our tasting room and enjoy the sunshine and vineyard views. Sbragia Family Vineyards prides itself on its single vineyard varietals and small case production. Varieties include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. Most of the wines are made from vineyards owned by the Sbragia family, but do include select vineyards from Sonoma and Napa Valley as well. Our wines have received many accolades and are considered some of California’s best.

“Great winery, great wines!”

Kirby took great care of us and we tasted just about everything they had too offer. The winery and view from the veranda was fantastic and the wines are even better! A definite must stop!

Good service, great views from the veranda, delicious wines especially Gino's zinfandel and the gamble ridge chardonnay. Well worth the drive.

“Wonderful experience!!”
Reviewed 17 September 2013

We had a great experience here. It was the second winery we visited, and we had a very average experience at the previous one. So we came in a little disappointed with our trip in general, but Sbragia definitely turned it all around.

First, the setting is just incredible. With sweeping views of the valley, I can´t imagine a better view. We went on a Monday afternoon so it wasn´t too crowded, with plenty of open parking. Even the views from the actual tasting room were great.

The tasting itself was also great. The woman who helped us was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions about the wine. The winery itself has a great story which just enhanced the experience. Our favorite was the Merlot, which was very unique. I have never been a fan of Merlot, but realize now maybe I just never had such a great one! The Chardonnay also stood out to me.

They also have a beautiful terrace where you can take your wine and enjoy the view. Unfortunately we were a bit pressed for time and weren´t able to stay as long as we would have liked, but I imagine it´s a great place to buy a bottle and just relax. I would allow extra time for that while you are here. We saw that they sold some small snacks - cheeses, salamis, etc., but you could also bring something yourself.

Overall, I would 100% recommend this vineyard. The service, ambiance, and wine were all excellent.

“Lovely experience - Incredible view”
Reviewed 17 September 2013 via mobile

This place was just perfect. The location over which it is set on the skirts of a hill grant a priviledge view over the beautiful valley.

We arrived on the recommendation of Healdsburg's information office and carried a voucher that allowed us to get a 2 x 1 deal on the tasting.

They had two options, each consisten on 5-6 tasting and prices were USD 10 or 20 depending on what kinds of wines you wanted to try. The USD version had wines from Dry Creek Valley and other areas while the USD 20 was almost entirely dedicated to Napa Valley.

We tried the USD 10 and loved it. Their Chardonnay and Merlot were just sublime. In addition, their Zinfindel (which happens to be a blend of that grape with Cabernet Franc) was quite interesting.

A fun fact, at least to us, was that several of the wines we tasted seemed to have a smoky taste. It almost reminded us the taste of a Caol Ila glass.

The service provided was great, not only when explaining the characteristics of every grape but also when explaining the history of the family that owned the winery. We recommend digging into the story of La Promesa.

Finally, the view. It was magnificent and considering that you are given the possibility to sit outside and buy some cheese or something else (not mandatory) from an spectacular terrace makes this vineyard the best I was able to get to know in the Dry Creek Valley.

“Go for the views of the valley!”
Reviewed 10 September 2013

The views from the outdoor terrace are beautiful, picturesque scenes of the valley. Have heard it is just gorgeous in the fall when the colors change. High on the hill. You may bring a lunch and buy some wine and enjoy some time on the wonderfully large terrace overlooking the valley. What a great time that is! We thought the whites were just average, the reds much better. However, you will love the scenery and is worth the time to see it. Pleasant staff.
