“Great alternative”
Reviewed 17 March 2014

I stayed at the Geyserville Inn for several nights recently and it was a nice stay. If you are planning on staying in Healdsburg and are put off by the high hotel prices this is a great alternative. The rooms were comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. It is basically a very nice motel and there isn't very much nearby but with the money you save it makes the small inconvenience worthwhile.

We happened upon Geyserville Inn by chance after blazing through the Napa Valley. A pleasant staff greeted us, and made us comfortable immediately. They recommended Catelli's restaurant, and it was tasty and fun. We welcomed a quiet restful night.

Room Tip: In the summer, it might be well to ask for a room away from the pool if you're just a couple.

We stayed here with a group for the Trine Winery winemakers dinner. Hubby and I loved our room in the back facing the vineyards and gazebo. We were pleasantly surprised by the fireplace. Very romantic.

I'd rate this higher if there had been a few more room amenities available. Toiletries, fresh fruit or cookies in lobby, etc. nearby town of heralds burg was good for brunch too.

Definitely would stay again.

Room Tip: Get rooms in back to avoid street and parking lot noise.

This is a nice place to stay in Geyserville. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet. Condition of the room was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant next door, which I recommend for breakfast.

This family run hotel was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. There was not much difference between a deluxe king and a jr. suite but the price was reasonable for both, size was the same but one had a small sofa and chair so if that is important to you the jr. suite is the way to go.
The front desk was very helpful in booking restaurants and giving suggestions. The location for visiting wineries was perfect. The little town only has two restaurants but both were excellent.

A great Inn with friendly staff, incredibly clean rooms and much more affordable than in Healdsburg. Geyersville is a quaint town, with fantastic food options and nearby wineries. A wonderful spot for cyclists to start from and enjoy the afternoon in the pool/spa. Highly recommend for friends, if you are attending a wine dinner in the area or just need a place after a long day of wine tasting!

Room Tip: Ask for an internal room facing the pool versus the parking lot.

We went up to Russian River Wine Country for a Crab Feed at Clos du Bois Winery plus a getaway weekend and stayed at Geyserville Inn...... what a nice little inn. We checked in right at 3:00 PM and our room was ready but once we got in we didn't want to be right off the pool, so we asked for another room. We thought there might be a problem as we booked through Expedia and we had to wait about 10 minutes but they were able to accommodate us. We enjoyed being upstairs and facing the vineyards behind the inn. Our room had a gas fireplace, small refrigerator, TV, and a small balcony. The bathroom was a nice size and very clean. The beds were comfortable and we didn't hear anyone during the night.
As we were going wine tasting the front desk staff gave us passes for wine tasting for 3 wineries along Dry Creek Road. It saved us some money which we promptly used on buying wine. Both evenings we enjoyed the hot tub and met some other folks staying at the inn and they enjoyed their stay. As mentioned before the restaurant next door was closed for remodeling, but there was a very light continental breakfast with coffee in the morning. Our only pointer is there isn't an elevator, so ask for a room downstairs if you can't walk up stairs. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it for anyone. Thank you Geyserville Inn for a great weekend!

Room Tip: Ask for a room upstairs and/or in the back facing the vineyard There is no elevator if you have iss...
