I eat at a Panda Express several times a week, and I prefer the one on campus at UCEN at UCSB for lunch, but for dinner I'll go this Fairview location. The food depends on if it's freshly made or been sitting. Now you can order it to be made fresh if you want to wait 25 minutes, but if you are like most of us, you want to walk the line and get the food quickly. I wish they would remove the "too long on the steamer bin" food before it gets gross but they usually don't...and then when new cooked item is brought over, the gross over-cooked items are mixed into it to save the food...ugh. When the good is fresh, and your timing is right, the food is great...but when you come at the wrong time, I recommend passing if what you want on the line looks tired, old or just plain sad.
