Went there with wife and brother-in-law on Christmas Day. I had a scramble, the other two had omelets. Good sized portions. Tasty. They keep the coffee cups refilled. Good for the price. All of us were quite satisfied.

This restaurant really needs a whole new overhall. The food has consistently gone down hill. I tried to give it a shot but NEVER again. Poor, RUDE management who obviously doesn't train his kitchen staff how to cook properly and be consistent with the food. Really too bad because the setting inside is decent.

We count on Lumberjacks for a decent and average meal. Prices are very reasonable and to us you get an an amazing amount of food for the price. It is very hard to imagine that anyone would think they do not get enough food. We particularly enjoy breakfast here. We also like lunch due to their salad bar. The staff is always very friendly, helps you immediately, checks frequently during your meal and consistently presents a great "hometown" sort of experience. What you are going to get a Lumberjack is good ole American coffee shop food.

I used to like this place but the last two times have been awful. First recent time, they cut the ham so thin, we thought they missed it. One piece, about two bites for the whole meal. The second time (didn't want to write it off for one off day) the turkey dinner was so full of salt, couldn't taste the turkey or cornbread stuffing or baked potatoes.
It was ridiculously expensive especially as we got the special with reduced price.

We stayed in Grass Valley at the fairgrounds in our RV for a week. Our treat was to go out for breakfast most mornings. We ate at Lumberjacks three times and it was consistently good and the staff is friendly and attentive. They had a ham and eggs special for $4.99 which was very good. One day they had anything on the breakfast menu (except for steak and eggs) for $6.99. A great deal.
