We stayed here for two nights to explore Yosemite. Really great value. The rooms are immaculate and reminds of a Western movie. The staff are friendly and feels like a home from home. The town itself is small and compact with the Iron Door Saloon across the road and a mexican restaurant nearby. A great alternative if you do not want to stay in Yosemite itself.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Charlotte. It is warm and cozy and the owners are so lovely and helpful too. They lent us a hand with our luggage and even a toddler carrier for our walk to see the giant sequoias. We just love independent, family owned stays as it is always personal and well-thought of.

It is a shame that their restaurant was closed during our stay as we can imagine that they offer the best food in the area but the next door Mexican was an excellent recommendation.

We had good sleep in the bed and the was able to keep us warm despite the weather. It is very clean and their buffet breakfast had ample choices to get you going in the morning - boiled eggs, fruit and yogurt, the delicious carrot cake, toast, cereals and hot drinks.

It is 1.20 hours to get to Yosemite . There was a detour at the time we visited so that probably took us a bit longer.

This was such a beautiful place to stay, close to Yosemite NP.
We stayed at Hotel Charlotte for two nights. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the all place felt very cosy. We loved it. People at the reception were also very friendly.
Driving there at night was a bit tricky cause google maps sent us through the old priest road so if you can, make sure you avoid that road.

We chose here for last stop in our Thanksgiving getaway. Cozy, friendly and warm! We got upgraded to a bigger room. So nice!
Also, we had a excellent dinner in "Fork & Love" restaurant just beside the hotel. Must try it when you stay here!
I really enjoyed and love to come back soon!
Highly recommended.
