Yosemite Pines RV Resort and Family Lodging

We bought a 2 night stay at Yosemite Pines through Groupon. I upgraded to the Premium Cabin from the Standard Cabin and It was 100% worth it. They honored my Groupon for Memorial Day weekend when the prices are higher and a 3 day minimum is required. Our cabin was Clean, well Maintained and Ready for us when we arrived. The staff was more than friendly and invited us down to the campfire for Smores the first night. I honestly found nothing wrong with this place! I can see us returning for many years to come!

Room Tip: Upgrade to Premium Cabin. It's worth the extra $$

We stayed 2 nights in the very cute deluxe cabin. I really don't think 5 people would fit in one though. It was quiet and a nice place to stay but we NEVER had hot water for a shower the entire weekend. We were able to get some warm water for a few minutes to wash dishes the 2nd day. We told them that we had no hot water our first morning expecting to have it resolved when we returned, weary and very dirty from our 2nd day in Yosemite. Nope, had to shower in the group facilities which was less than clean and comfy. Our only real complaint but a really big one. I was quite peeved! Oh, I had to put on my makeup in the truck each day as there is no light above the bathroom mirror. The built in beds are too short for tall men.
The outside BBQ was nice and the kitchenette facilities were just what we needed for our meals. I would recommend staying but make sure you have hot water!

We thought we might have taken a wrong road getting to the campground from the west. The road twists and turns with steep inclines for miles. But it was worth it. The park was wooded and quiet and very convenient to Yosemite. The restrooms were nice except were not fully cleaned for the 4 days we were there. The sinks were clean but not the showers/shower curtains, etc. Our biggest complaint had nothing to do with the park. There were bees everywhere! We never were able to sit outside, certainly not to eat, because as soon as we sat we were surrounded. Bad time of year, I guess.

We were unable to camp in Curry Village, Yosemite Natl. Park. We booked at Yosemite Pines. The camp site assigned to us was too small, we walked around and found one to our liking. There was no problem switching sites. We had our own gear and although the site was dusty, we were camping. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed the pool, it also was clean. We wanted to check out the cabins but did not. Next time, and yes, we will camp there again we'll check them out. The small store offers basic foods. Yes, it's pricey but so are small convenience stores, hello, it's not a super market. Happy camping!

This was a great find for our family. We traveled from SE Michigan to Yosemite in June of 2012. Unable to get a reservation for any of the Yosemite NP campgrounds, we choose Yosemite Pines mostly because of the reviews on trip advisor. Are we happy we did! While the park is a short twenty mile drive, the YNP campgrounds were congested with less than ideal facilities.

Not so at Yosemite Pines.

Swimming pool, petting zoo, hot showers, a campground cat and a turkey with her chicks along with bus service to the park are just a few of the thing we loved about this park. Our five day stay was comfortable and relaxing. Our family of five enjoyed our visit to Yosemite National Park and loved having this campground to come home to every evening,

First time here, but already see the hype. Lots of family activities and you are 45 mins from bottom of Yosemite valley. Came here cause I need full hook ups for my rv. Yosemite dont have that. So kick back here and take day trips to Yosemite as needed. Plus don't need to book a year in avid acne. I will be back yearly
