“A belated Great Stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2009

Stayed at the Blackberry Inn over a year ago. The Inn keepers were very nice and so was their dog!!. The place was spotless. Enjoyed having breakfast on the porch with the hummingbirds. Very accessible to Yosemite. Would definitely stay again.

So glad we found the Blackberry Inn--a beautiful B & B off of Hwy 120 on a spur road near Buck Meadows. There were so many wonderful things about the Inn--from the comfy bed & pillows, tea service, delicious breakfast, and amazing grounds including hundreds of hummingbirds that visit the Inn daily--the Innkeepers' attention to detail is amazing, and Steve truly goes above and beyond to make his guests feel at home.
Next time you are on your way to Yosemite, stop by and enjoy this wonderful Inn.
It's close to Hetch Hetchy (which doesn't have the crowds of the valley), and some beautiful spots outside the park.

We stayed at the Blackberry Inn for four nights in June. Steve was a wonderful host and went out of his way to make our stay so memorable. The room was beautifully appointed and spacious and breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We needed to leave early one morning to hike up Half Dome (5:30 a.m.!!!) and were hoping that Steve would leave some cereal and juice out for us. He insisted on getting up early and cooking us some oatmeal and preparing some fresh fruit and coffee to fuel us for our hike. Needless to say, we were the happiest and best fed hikers on the trail that morning! Plus we had the chocolate chip cookies to come home to! All in all, a truly great stay. By the way, we agree with the comments about the limited evening food options; however, we did have a nice meal at the Evergreen Lodge. If you decide to sit out on the porch, use bug spray!

This is a delightful place to stay in the Yosemite area. The only drawback is the lack of decent places for dinner within a reasonable distance. The first night we ate at Buck Meadows Restaurant which was horrible. The second night we just had chips and fruit in our room. But back to the review of the b +b: it was clean, large, comfortable, and friendly. The breakfasts were quite good. There are nice places to walk and it is very quiet. We will definitely stay here again.

I was initially looking to stay in the valley at Yosemite but couldn't get in and came across this gem whilst searching online and so glad that i did. The Blackberry Inn Bed and Breakfast at Hamilton Station Loop Groveland was perfect in every way. I thought that with it being 20 miles from the valley that is would be too far out but not at all as it gives you the option to explore the tioga pass, Hetch Hetchy and many more spots. The host, Steve, was on hand when we arrived and so very welcoming. He greeted us and showed us up to our very spacious on-suite room which had a king sized bed with the softest sheets i can remember for a long time. A tray of freshly made cookies was available plus the use of his laptop to access the internet and a fridge was there too. Homemade breakfasts were brilliant especially as you meet the other guests and are made to feel like part of the family. Steve provided us with a detailed book on local walks and trails etc. The most relaxing aspect of the Blackberry Inn was to sit on the veranda at the end of the day and watch the many humming birds feed. A great experience

My husband and I stayed four nights at the Blackberry Inn while we were visiting Yosemite National Park. This B&B was the perfect spot for a restful, relaxing, and scenic stay outside of the park. Steve was the perfect host and was very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to answering our questions about the park. His breakfasts were delicious.
Alex, his wife, was a big help to me as I sprained my ankle on a hike the first day we were there.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying outside the park at the Blackberry Inn. This lovely B&B deserves a perfect 10.

The proprietors, Alexandra and Steve, allowed my friend Chris and I to camp on the property with our horses in mid May. Alex provided the use of two pipe corrals, along with her arena. She even took us on some guided rides on national forestry roads. The scenery was beautiful, the riding, tons of fun! On occasion, Chris and I walked over to the inn for an amazing breakfast prepared by Steve. We had a wonderful time and would definitely do it again.
