Just passing through on an adventure up the PCH. I completely agree with all the reviews. Staff: great. Views: great. Value: great. Clean and roomy. The large windows were great to view the moonlight reflecting on the ocean.

This is a very nice motel. I hate calling it a motel because it is so nice. It is very clean, you get sparkling cider when you arrive, and the whirlpool in the bath is excellent. We come here about once a year and it is the closest to the water with the best view.

I was on business in Gualala back in April and was booked into the Seacliff. Not my choice but I was so glad to be "stuck" here for a few days. The reception staff were amazing and efficient and the rooms all seem to have the most perfect view over the Pacific Ocean below. Every night I sat on my terrace with a beer watching the sundrop below the horizon. Priceless.

The room it;self was large wit grear quality furniture and bathroom and only 50-10 metres from the carpark. Some rooms allot less.

The wifi was included in the price and good quality and there was a bottle of apple pop left in our fridge as a welcome gift with chocolates left on the truned downbedding every night.

Next door is a small attractive row of shops and a great cafe where once again you can sit with a sandwich enjoying the tremendous views. Up another 20 metres is a roadhouse bar which serves passable pub food which is overshadowed by the friendly locals and fellow tourists.

Over all a great place to spend a few days to relax. If you;re on business then staying here will make your trip seem like a holiday.

This place has it all--- great view, gas fireplace, private patio. Not especially close to great dining places (except perhaps St. Orres), but all-around a very good value. Just remember that a second floor room has more privacy; and expect a little seagull poop on the windows. (Don't feed the seagulls!)

Room Tip: Choose a second floor room for more privacy.

Wonderful location right on the bluff. Walked into our second floor room, but down our bags and looked out of the window - lo and behold two whales not 100m offshore. Wish we could have stayed more than the one night and disappointed it was a bit too cold to sit out on our deck. Staff friendly and helpful (I had some problems with our hire car and a mislaid passport). Ate at Bones Roadhouse for a very American small town experience, also had good breakfast in Trinks.
As mentioned by previous reviewers don't be put off by your first impressions as you arrive.

Room Tip: Rooms on the second floor have a bit more privacy from people walking along the bluff

What could be better than falling asleep to the sound of the ocean? The desk staff greeted us promptly and was very friendly and helpful. All of the rooms have an ocean view, perfect for catching the sunset. We loved te gas fireplace and the jacuzzi tub.

Room Tip: All rooms have a view.

From the moment Susan made our reservation to the moment we checked out it was fantastic....We arrived to check in and was greeted by Night Manager Kathy. She was so awesome on telling us about the area and where to get good clam chowder. We had an upstairs room with an awesome view. You could sit for hours listening and watching the waves. We actually saw a couple whales right before the sun when down and the next morning a baby sea otter playing in the water and sand. If we're ever in this area again we will for sure stay here again.

Room Tip: doesn't matter if your upstairs or downstairs...every room has an awesome view
