We had breakfast here one morning and were disappointed to not find a loud, obnoxious place. It was a weekday and it was slow. We grabbed a paper and read the local news in peace. We did have a little bit of a serenade from the owner. Price may have been a little high, but overall it was pretty good.

Stopped here for breakfast while visiting Half Moon Bay. Restaurant was packed (a good sign) so we sat at the counter. Lots of locals were eating here. Food was excellent - hot, fresh, and tasty!

Six of us stopped for breakfast and really enjoyed it. There was the smell of fresh home fries, bacon and sausage on the grill as we entered. It is nothing special inside. The waiter was very friendly that took our order and everything came just as we ordered.

This isn't one of those modern chrome-glitz-diner places that tries to convince you that they're a 1950s institution even though nobody associated with it had even been born then. The chef has been cooking for over half a century (according to their advertising; I did take a peek) and the look and food would very much have been at home on the midwestern main street where I grew up (yeah, in the fifties). The lunch menu isn't extensive (burgers, toasted and grilled sandwiches, and salads), but what my wife and I had was good, with attentive service. And the 50s music coming out of the juke box was also a trip down memory lane.

Nice, clean does a bang up job on breakfasts (which is all I had) which is served all day long.

The corned beef hash was crispy and tasty - there was a selection of at least a half a dozen hot sauces, and there were 3 perfectly poached ( real poached - not put in some kind of container poached) eggs. Pleasant small town company is whoever happens to be sitting on the stool next to you.

If you are hankering for a bit of nostalgia this is a good place to have your nostalgia and eat it too!
