Amazing Getaway Weekend

The Ritz at Half Moon Bay is a perfect weekend getaway hotel for many people who live in California or for people like us who enjoy staying at Marriott Bonvoy properties. I was really surprised to see so many dogs on the property! There is golfing a wonderful spa and access to walking trails along the coastline. Or if you prefer, just chilling on the terrace and enjoying the ocean view!
The room was beautiful and spacious with a lovely view overlooking the terrace below and of the coastline.
We played golf and enjoyed walking on the trails by the hotel. At dusk, we had cocktails on the terrace while enjoying the ocean view and watching the golfers on the hole next to the hotel.
Even went into town for a day of shopping.
The food at the hotel was delicious and we ate mostly in the Conservatory for dinner.

Room tip: Try to request a room with a view of the ocean. We were on the concierge level

Magical location!

The view from our room with an ocean view was gorgeous! The property is magical, with the morning fog, the bagpiper at dusk, and the sunset, I couldn't ask for a better weekend! We also loved renting bikes and riding around the property. The outdoor lounge area with fire pits was a great place to have cocktails with the ocean view.

Elegant property. Beautiful scenery.

The property was old, but well maintained. I like the interior design. The color of the wall paper matches the color of the Pacific Ocean. White marbled guest room bathroom was quite luxurious. The food from the Club Lounge was impressively delicious. Sandra and Cameron from the Concierge were attentive and caring. The bellboys at the front gate were very helpful. The resort has beautiful scenery. Try to get a room with coastal view if you can. It's worth it.

Amazing

Absolutely beautiful property with phenomenal service. Room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the coastline. Enjoyed the walking trails around the property. Each night at sunset a bagpiper plays adding a unique feature. The staff was so accommodating and treated my girls with great birthday wishes upon arrival. We will certainly be back as this hotel certainly ranks in our top 5!! Thank you a wonderful time.

Beautiful location

This is a fantastic hotel! Our room was beautiful and clean. The shoreline was spectacular and a the views of the golf course great. This was a wonderful stop for our road trip down the coast. We look forward to staying again.
