Usually I am not the one whom will write a review on anyone or anything. I HAD to do this to WARN you, My husband stayed at this hotel while attending a local football game. We purchased a package via Expedia. Out credit card was charged the day we purchased the package. Once my Husband returned home I checked out bank account and noticed that it was charges 2 more times. This means we were charged a total of 3 times for the room on a 2 night stay. As you can see this got pretty pricey. I called to have them refund the card and received the WORST customer service, nothing but the run a round... I was told that I would receive a phone call back from 3 people including the hotel supervisor and owner. NO ONE called me back. I called them over and over and got the same thing, "we'll call you back' When I asked for a business number for the owner so that I may speak with him directly, I was told I could NOT have it from the hotel supervisor.

Long story short, save yourself the headache and DO NOT get a room here...
Hope many learn from my expirence... ;o)

The hotel was okay but not one to stay at if visiting San Francisco. We larned it was too far and traffic was too heavy to stay there if visiting downtown San Francisco. We were booked to stay for four nights but only ended up staying for two. We notified the front desk a day prior that we would be checking out. We checked out and I had a receipt that said there was a $0 balance due. Two days later we were charged for the other two nights on our credit card. After several phone calls and faxing the receipt to the hotel, we were finally refunded one night. They have no right to charge a credit card after we checked out. They were extremely difficult to deal with.

Pros: Good price, fairly spacious and clean rooms. Decent breakfast buffet including fresh waffles. Pool and Spa were small but clean. Bathroom included a hot tub. Friendly service.
Bus stop practically right in front of the hotel, BART train stop can be reached by bus in 5 minutes or on foot in 25 minutes.

Cons: Situated right next to an Interstate and only a mile from a private airport this hotel is on the noisy side, but not to the point where it's impossible to sleep. There is nothing to do in Hayward, but it's easy to get around by car or public transit.

Definitely worth considering if you're planning on visiting San Francisco or the bay area in general. It'll take you about 90 minutes from your room to downtown San Francisco if you use public transportation, but the rates are much better than what you would pay for a comparable hotel in SF.

'Freeway Close' is a nice way to put it - this place is nestled between the 880 Freeway and "A" street, a busy arterial. Near constant road noise. The room is ok, but just ok. The security latch is hanging by one screw, looks like somebody kicked the door in and the staff didn't fix it correctly.

I decided to try and stay out of the SF center and use BART to get into town. I booked 2 nights at this property. The hotel is fine, the rooms are nice and clean. Since right next to the highway and on a busy street it is very noisy at any time of the day or night. The pool and hot tub are squeezed between two hotel buildings. The staff could be much more friendly. The man at the front desk was OK, but the two ladies were rather impolite. With a lot of trouble and although I am a Platinum Gold Crown Club member they allowed me to check out an hour later, because of my flight schedule. This hotel had a good rate of about 65$ and was close to BART station in Hayward, so all in all I was satisfied.
