“A regular stop in Healdsburg”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 May 2014

Great food in an energetic and cozy atmosphere. We always make it a point to visit Scopa each time we are in Healdsburg. The food and service are always great and we love to go on Wednesday for Winemaker Wednesday. It is great to talk about the wine you are enjoying with the person who created it. Such a great experience!

“Get the Chicken!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 April 2014

I had a phenomenal meal at Scopa. First off, it is very reasonably priced. It's a super small restaurant, so be sure to call one month in advance to make a reservation. The service was great. We started with the grilled calamari. It was good, but nothing to write home about. Then we had the Nona's Chicken pot. Shut the front door, that dish was ridiculous. Soooo delicious. I pretty much never order chicken at a restaurant, but we were told by two separate people that the chicken at Scopa is great, so we tried it. I could have licked the polenta out of the cast iron pot it came in, had we not also ordered a sausage pizza. My friend, and I could only eat one slice of our pizza. We stuffed ourselves on the chicken. It's a small dish, but perfect to share, and it really fills you up. I would definiley recommend this restaurant if you are in Healdsburg.

“Fun Spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2014

Fun, trendy spot. The food was great, spendy, but what isn't in wine country? The waiter was in high gear, attentive. Be aware that it is small, loud with background chatter, but that is part of the experience. We did have the unpleasant experience of sitting next to a group with one snob who was dissing Oregon and Blondes…jerk. But no reflection on the restaurant, who comped us one of the most amazing desserts acknowledging our 25th wedding anniversary.

“Noisy but with great food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 April 2014

One of our favorite Healdsburg restaurants -- a limited but excellent menu. Small, crowded, and very noisy -- felt like we were shouting at each other to be heard. Nonetheless, the food is so good that we keep going back. It doesn't matter what the special is, order it. Always great.

“Already having withdrawals.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2014 via mobile

We ventured into this gem of a town to find a few tasty nuggets before we went to San Fran for the weekend only to find ourselves traveling all the way back up North for a taste of real food once again. The service was on point with knowledgeable staff both times we had the pleasure of dining. The food topped the charts and the only disappointment would be that we can't get our hunger pains satisfied on a weekly basis due to the fact that we live in the Midwest. That won't deter us for long, however...
