Yes, some of the rooms are too small, but check them out before you decide which one to stay in. We've stayed here twice in the last six months and give it a thumbs up. We especially liked the help we got regarding wineries to visit and restaurants for dinner. The breakfast were good. Recommend the room on the ground floor near the entrance. Would be happier with more comfortable chairs in the room but overall enjoyed our stay. After all, you're going to be spending more time at wineries tasting good wines than sitting in your room. The location is great for walking to dinner at the many good restaurants in Healdsburg. Don't miss visiting the Wilson family wineries. Some of the best in the Dry Creek area.

Room Tip: the room near the entrance war our favorite. However, all the rooms are nicely decorated,

This inn is located a short walk from the square on a quiet street. It has two parts: the original building and a much larger addition that was built about 10 years ago. The older part could use a little updating and I understand that the owners are planning to do that. The room, furnishings, and bathroom were all clean. It was odd that there was not a clock on the bed stand, and my gas fireplace did not work properly. The breakfasts were fantastic. There is a small refrigerator in the main area that you can use to chill a bottle of wine, and I suspect that they would allow you to use the fridge in the kitchen if necessary. Wineglasses are ubiquitous. Coffee and tea are available all day and they bake cookies in the late afternoon. The grounds are very nice. All in all, a nice place and I would stay there again.

Than to the staff at the Grape Leaf Inn, we loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone! Amazing 3 course breakfast included, wine tasting passes, beautifully crafted rooms. Made our first b&b stay a great one. Thank you!

We spent 2.5 days in Healdsburg, CA
Hotel, friendly staff and other guests, service, free wine tasting and recommendations, furniture, books, trees and flower garden, complimentary wine, windows which open to the roof; beautiful quiet historical part of the town just a few blocks from the buslte of tourist center - everything was great. We love nature more than food, so we visited just 2 wine tastings (out of 8 complimentary), but walked 3 small city parks, and spent several hours on the banks of Russian River.
Grape Leaf let us use guest refrigerator even after we checked out, so we had fresh cool lunch in the shade, while it was close to 80F - beautiful March weather!

Room Tip: I think all room are good, we liked our on second floor.

This is a lovely place to stay! The room was very nice, with high ceilings, though the bathroom sink was a bit tiny. It is a few blocks to the town square, convenient and very quiet. Great breakfast, and they accommodated our need for an early departure.

Room Tip: Gamay Rose room was downstairs with a tall ceiling. The upstairs rooms had much nicer bathrooms for...

Set on a nice quiet street corner a few blocks from the town square, we felt very welcome when we checked in. All the details were explained, and we were offered a complimentary wine tasting in their very cool "Speakeasy" in the basement. Everything is clean, and the beds are comfortable. But our room was in dire need of renovation. There were two, yes two, electrical outlets in the main room. Each one of them was used by either a lamp or the bedside clock. The bathroom had two outlets, but all the fixtures (sinks, shower, etc.) are either out of date or just not quite installed properly. The fixtures in one sink were easily displaced, almost like they ran out of time to finish the job properly. The decor is predictably Victorian kitsch. The breakfasts were delicious if a little overwrought. I do like something other than just eggs and bacon from time to time. But offering up attempts at fancy gourmet dishes seems like they're trying too hard. However, huge credit for having fresh coffee and cookies available throughout the day. This is a comfortable option with sincere and friendly service. Just don't expect to be blown away by the design and ambiance.

They were so welcoming! The breakfast was delicious and the place was very clean. We loved the secret bar behind the bookshelf. They offered complimentary happy hour. The bartender was a hoot and it was great to mingle with the other guest. Would totally stay again!
