Owner description: Tucked into the hills of Sonoma County's Alexander Valley, Jordan Vineyard & Winery welcomes guests by appointment for four unique tours and tastings. From perennial gourmet wine tastings with food pairing in our cellar room and walking tours through our iconic chateau, to epicurean excursions across our scenic property and festive holiday celebrations offered seasonally, there is something for everyone to enjoy. All tours include both walking and seated tastings, each featuring seasonal tastes from the Jordan chef paired with vintages of Jordan Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Jordan's Estate Tour & Tasting also includes driving. Advance reservations are required due to the intimacy of tastings. Inspired by the timeless elegance of French wine and food, Tom and Sally Jordan founded Jordan Vineyard & Winery in 1972. Their vision was to create a wine estate that produced food-friendly Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay to rival the finest in France--and to capture the essence of gracious hospitality. Today their son, John, builds upon their legacy. We were blown away when we pulled up the long drive to discover this gorgeous French style chateau. I was excited for this visit because I'm a huge fan of their Cabernet, and the library tasting didn't disappoint. The tour guide, Jayson, was terrific. We loved the little bite served with the Chardonnay, and the cheese pairings were spectacular (black truffle brie - seriously awesome).
All I can think about is how to get enough points to stay in one of their suites.

My husband and I enjoyed the library tasting which included a food/cheese pairing along with their wine. Very friendly staff in an otherwise formal setting.

We love Jordan wine and was excited to visit the winery! The staff was incredible - helpful and informative. The tasting was a bit more formal that we would prefer, but it gave us insight to the winery and showed us several "secret" rooms within the house. The cab is amazing and we were able to purchase an vintage from 2003 which we couldn't find at home. Great experience!

Up and Quite Away, there resides an estate called Jordan. Behold the Pomp & Circumstance! Where are we, anyway?

Opulence and accessible elegance embody the Jordan library tasting experience.

With the expertise of Christopher Washington, our guide and resident educator, we eight were transported to a kingdom far, far away. Charismatic and warm, Christopher charmed his guests from beginning to end.

Lustrous body, modest and delicate, complete with a seductive finish paired with supple tannins, are what make Jordan wines sophisticated and esteemed. Self-assured but not presumptuous. Jordan rises to the occasion.

The tasting began in the library with their current release Chardonnay paired with an hors d'oeuvre; followed by a seated tasting, in the Cellar Room featuring three vintages of Cabernet Sauvignon complemented by a selection of artisanal cheese, quince paste and their Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The palatial property is something to behold. The winding road which begins your unobstructed journey to something special...most astonishingly special.

Quite the ceremonial splendor.

Made reservations for a private small group tour and tasting. The estate is just lovely and our tour guide was very interesting and very patient. Some people that were in the group we were put with had already been to other wine tastings and were a bit rude but our guide was wonderful.
The wines poured and the small bites with each were perfect.
We love Jordan wines, so it was so much fun to see the estate and hear the history behind the winery.
