We are not usually interested in joining wine clubs when we visit Sonoma and Napa, however Dutcher made an impression on us with the great wines (both taste and value), the beautiful grounds and attentive/knowledgeable staff. We spent almost 2 hours with the staff talking through the wines and back story of Dutcher Crossing. Miranda was wonderful in the tasting room, bringing a lot of knowledge to the tasting room with her background in the area. We are excited about our shipment to arrive soon, especially the Bill's Block Zin and Kupperschmid Red.

Highly recommend stopping in to visit and taste the wines.

Beautiful setting and known for their very good Petite Sirah. They also have a good Zinfandel. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it. Hostess was friendly and waived the fee when we bought a bottle We also joined the club. Can't wait to get our first case!

Dutcher Crossing is an immaculate winery, with a spectacular view of the valley framed by the building's architecture. We are club members and enjoyed a tasting of the upcoming shipment, all strong wines. The new Rhone blend red, Kupferschmid, really stood out. It's not the usual Dry Creek red (which mostly are Zins), softer and rounder, but a great addition to the offerings.

For the price, Dutcher wines are among the best in the Sonoma region, as the many plaudits and medals they receive suggest.

We met up with a few friends who were visiting from Southern California. It was a Tuesday morning when we visited. We each had one or two tastes and then we were basically ignored. There were three people working behind the bar and they all seemed to disappear in different directions. One person came back behind the bar, but ignored us. And, the winery was not busy at the time we were there. There were two other couples and one couple went outside. The grounds are lovely and I like the wine labels, but I would have loved to have heard all about their wines and the history of the winery. This was our first time here and I doubt we will return. The sad thing is that our friends from southern California were on a buying trip and they certainly didn't purchase anything from Dutcher Crossing. Oh well. There are so many other premium choices of wineries to visit and wines to taste.
