Food was wonderful and staff very attentive. A little expensive, but for a special dinner it was lovely. If you bring a bottle of wine you purchased in Sonoma they will open with no corkage fee and do not make you feel odd at all. I highly recommend.

Very pleasant dining in a casual environment. Found the food a little more conventional than we were expecting for a Charlie trotter restaurant. Spent a week in Sonoma eating at the most highly rated restaurants and this one was one of the less memorable ....interesting how when one looks back some of them really stand out but this one did not....maybe we were just fooded out....will try again next time

This restaurant has been a "go to" stop for us for several years. However, our last two experiences found the food portions to shrink and the prices rise. Great food and chefs but it now costs a lot to get reasonably satisfied. They have a great policy of no corkage fee for local wines and that is a plus. However, for the price/value, the draw has been fading. Not sure what can be done about that and they seem to draw in both locals and tourists. Not sure we'll return as things are right now.

The Honor Mansion recommended it when we were making an advanced reservation for our arrival night. There were three couples and we all had excellent meals in a very nice setting near the town square. We also ate at the French Laundry and the Auberge du Soliel and found the Dry Creek Kitchen to be an excellent location for fine dining.

We have dined here several times during the past year and always stop at the Oak Creek Kitchen when in Healdsburg. During warm weather, we have been permitted to dine with our Welsh terrier, Bessie, at a great table in the main restaurant that has doors that open to the sidewalk. Food, service and atmosphere are all +++
