“We're members, so we're biased. We LOVE Dry Creek Vineyard.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2014

Full disclosure - we're members. We love so many of their wines, the staff are always friendly, and the atmosphere is so comfortable. We can buy a bottle and go sit out on the lawn in the sun and just relax. Great place and great wine!

I think in this case, it is OK to be biased. Thanks for the great review!

“Best Barrel Tasting Ever for Me”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 March 2014

We have been members for a number of years, but live on the East Coast. This year we were in No. California for the members barrel tasting. It was very well done--a comfortable easy pace. The staff were great at answering questions. Dry Creek wines are well done and the barrel tasting of two reds was very nice.

Nice people and a wonderful location. The general store just up the road is a very good source for lunch to bring back and enjoy on the tables outside the tasting room.

We took some friends from nearby Windsor, CA and they were also very impressed. This is a real quality operation.

“The best”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 March 2014

Although we went during the busy barrel tasting weekend, everything in the tasting area was just the best, with great pairings of nuts, breads, dried fruit and more. The staff was friendly and knowledgable--and talked about the wines with real enthusiasm and knowhow. We came to Dry Creek because of the labels, but we stayed because of the taste, and fell in love with the place because of the people. Can't wait to go back!

I love your sentence - We came to Dry Creek because of the labels, but we stayed because of the taste, and fell in love with the place because of the people. That does a great job of describing why Dry Creek Vineyard is such a special place

“Dry Creek Vineyard”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 March 2014

Great wine, a low key and friendly staff. I very nice place to visit and enjoy new wines. This winery has an excellent selection at reasonable prices. Dry Creek Vineyard also hosts several events each year which are well-planned and interesting.

“Terrific selection of whites”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2014

I would have given this venue 5 stars, except they were having a Members-only gathering in the back room, and members kept coming out, crowding to the front and making requests of the tasting room staff. Made for a very disjointed tasting. That said, Dry Creek has some excellent whites. I especially enjoyed the dry Chenin blanc and the Fume blanc. They advertise as wines for sailors, and as a retired submariner, I would agree. I repeat the caveat about the roads leading to these wineries on the west side - narrow, twisting, no shoulders, and lots of traffic on the weekends.
