My friends and I had a wonderful experience tasting wine at Dry Creek Vineyard. The grounds outside their tasting room are the perfect place for lunch, with one of their bottles of wine, on a beautiful Sonoma County day.

“Beautiful winery and place for a picnic”
Reviewed 26 August 2014

Dry creek is one of my favorite wineries. Some of the wineries are so expensive, but Dry Creek keeps their prices reasonable. I haven't been very thrilled with the taste of the Chardoney, too smokey for me. All the other wines are delicious. We try and have a picnic every year at the beautiful grounds.

Thanks for the great review! The next time you visit us and have a picnic, be sure to try our new single vineyard Estate Block 10 Chardonnay. It is not smokey, and it offers up a wonderful balance of fruit and pleasant acidity. A perfect picnic wine..

“Dry Creek Vineyard”

Always one of my favorite stops. Darren was both helpful and generous and the wine was spectacular. My wife and I brought two other couples - and they are now fans too...

“Wonderful Wines Cause Broken Promise”
Reviewed 16 August 2014

Our host at Dry Creek was Greg. We started out like any other visiting tasters, most certainly. But as we began to experience the wines, two things became clear: 1) Dry Creek Wines belong in the top echelons of Upper Sonoma County wineries; and 2) Greg listened to our comments (the tasting room was not super full that weekday in August) and as he determined by our dialogue that we were serious and experienced students of wine, he pulled several proverbial rabbits out of his hat - i.e. brought some wines up from under the counter that were NOT on the day's tasting menu! Oh! These reserve and/or older wines really show off Dry Creek's best of the best! For our part, we had pledged to each other before entering Dry Creek that on this visit we would "behave" and join no new wine clubs. The promise of Dry Creek Wines like these throughout the year, (plus the seductive discount on our purchases) were too much to resist! So we will be enjoying these wines from our home for many moons!

Broken promises are usually a bad thing, but in this case, I think we can make an exception! Welcome to our wine club family and we hope to see you again soon.

“Stopping here is a must!”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

Our visit last weekend was the second we had made to this winery. We picked up some sandwiches made at the corner store (about a quarter mile east of Dry Creek Winery), a bottle of Chardonnay from Dry Creek, had lunch in the beautiful grounds, and then returned to the winery for tastings. The Dry Chenin Blanc was the first and a "must buy" especially given the price. We also purchased some additional Chardonnays ($20 each), and other wines--all told, I purchased a case. This winery has a "sailing" theme, which is very fun. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. From a grounds standpoint, this winery, which, in my view, had some of the best buys, is a must to visit. It was a great stop for us on our own manufactured bike tour. There is a fee for tasting, but it is waived upon purchase of wine.
