Owner description: Lambert Bridge is a small, family owned winery located in the heart of the Sonoma County's Dry Creek Valley. While we agree with the previous posts on the scenic views & great picnic area that this winery provides, one distinct feature was left out... This winery, unlike any of the 20+ wineries we visited in the Dry Creek, Russian River & Alexander Valleys, CHARGES $10/per person AND this fee is not deducted from your wine purchase. Can you say RIDICULOUS ??
Not only was the wine average amongst hundreds of fabulous other selections in the area, the staff seemed uninterested. When asked about our experience by our B & B Innkeeper, they said that we were not the only visitors who left Lambert Bridge feeling they way we did - cheated. There are far too many other friendly, beautiful, fabulous and both complimentary & nominal fee charging wineries in the area. SKIP Lambert !

“One of the best wineries for a picnic”
Reviewed 11 July 2007

Lambert Bridge has a beautifully manicured garden where they provide shaded teak tables for picnicking. This is one of our favorites for grabbing a sandwich at the Dry Creek General store (on the way out there), picking up a bottle of their Sauvignon Blanc, and enjoying an afternoon. This is a local favorite.

“Beautiful Winery off the Beaten Path”
Reviewed 10 June 2007

No mass produced wines here. All hand crafted with their own unique personality. Even though I am a "red" man, the whites shine. Owners and staff are helpful in explaining the process. Special care is taken in treating the grapes right. Great wine comes from great grapes.

You could spend an afternoon eating their bread sticks dipping in their gourmet mustards sipping wine relaxing if you wanted to. I gotta go back for a cooking class/event in the Italian wood stove in the garden area.
