Stayed three nights with some New Zealand friends had a great time.
The views are great and hosts were welcoming and knowledgeable.
Chose this after search of others we had car and wineries we were visiting were all close.
Superb furnishings and many interesting parts for you to find!
Harold and Jerry have been doing this 20 years and it shows!

Room Tip: Ask nicely and go in midweek!

This was our third time to Healdsburg and our first to Bella Villa Messina. We keep coming back because we love the area, next time we will stay here again. There are so many positive things to say, it is hard for me to prioritize. The rooms are charming, comfortable, private and very clean. The reception we got from Jerry and Harold was warm and welcoming. From the delicious and fresh breakfasts to the wine, cheese, crackers and fruit in the late afternoon, they made us feel at home. Jerry's recommendations for what to do and where to go were spot on. He listened to what we like and then gave us great advice. His knowledge of the local wineries and restaurants saved us lots of time. The home is up on a hill and the view from the rooms and the lovely patio are peaceful and gorgeous. It is a short drive to town and we went there everyday. Healdsburg is darling and everything you would need is right around the town square. There are lots of restaurants, cafes, charming boutiques and tasting rooms all in a few blocks radius. There are so many things to do in Northern Sonoma County….the scenery is breathtaking and the people are friendly. We can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Every room is unique. No two are exactly the same. We stayed in the Burgundy room and would stay t...

An amazing stay at the perfect B&B. Jerry and Harold are the perfect Innkeepers and now friends. They have opened their home with elegance and warmth, fantastic breakfasts, top flight accommodations, private yet the B & B atmosphere. Long interesting conversations about the area, its' restaurants and wineries sent us home with full bellies and a couple of cases of wine, none of which we could have experienced without the excellent recommendations by Jerry. We highly, highly recommend Bella Villa Messina without hesitation!!

Room Tip: Any room would be perfect.

What a wonderful place to stay. I have stayed here now 3 times and highly recommend it. Jerry and Harold include you like one of the family...so welcoming. Jerry's French toast is the best I've ever had and the platters of fresh fruit for breakfast are so delicious. Wine and appetizers every afternoon on the balcony from 5 to 7. Again, platters of cheeses, olives, and crackers as well as an assortment of wines. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Jerry also supplies maps and wine tasting advice. It is close to town where Jerry recommended Ralph's Bistro. Outstanding and so much fun having dinner at the bar. Thanks, Jerry and Harold, for a great long weekend with my daughter.

Room Tip: Have never stayed in a room that wasn't great

We just spent a wonderful 2 nights at Bella Villa. Jerry was absolutely amazing. He planned out our wine tasting adventure. Breakfast was delicious!!! Fruit, eggs, home-made bread, Hawaiian French toast, etc! There is nothing better than fresh homemade breakfast.
Bella villa is located only a few minutes away from town and Jerry knows all the good restaurants.
Lastly the place is absolutely stunning. Beautiful building with beautiful views (and llamas).
Would recommend this place to everyone and hope to return soon.

Great B&B, the host is a wonderful chef and super easy to talk to. Breakfast was awesome, the inn is about a 4-5 minute drive from the square and it's area is a great place to run or walk.

The host helped us with great recommendations of things to do and places to eat all around the Bay Area.

This is the perfect spot to stay when visiting wine country. Jerry and Harold are very hospitable and made us feel so welcome. Jerry's suggested itinerary helped us spend a couple of very enjoyable days in the area. When I left a pair of shoes behind, Jerry quickly shipped them to me. Great breakfasts, wine and cheese, and ambience.
