We stayed in the budget room and it far exceeded my expectations. The room was small but very maneuverable and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The private bath right across the hall was enormous. Breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed socializing with the other guests around the lovely, large dining room table. There is also a wine happy hour around the pool that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Lucy is an exceptionally capable innkeeper, both professional and personable. We loved our stay at the Camellia Inn.

We couldn't sleep all night. We stayed 4 people at the 2 bedroom downtown apartment in Healdsburg. The pictures the Camellia Inn showed looked nice on their website. But once you got to the place it was located between 2 restaurant kitchens. The extractors were so loud it was almost impossible to sleep. And to add more aggravation, starting around midnight the restaurants didn't stop dumping bottles into the recycling bins until almost 2:30 am. Truly a nightmare. We informed the management at the Camellia Inn the next day. They apologized and still charged us the $250 plus the $30 cleaning fee. I will never stay in any property managed by the Camellia Inn or the All Seasons Vacation Suites.

We stayed at the Camellia in for 5 nights in early june of 2008. My experience there far exceeded my expectations. The inn and its facilities including breakfast, sitting rooms, and happy hour at the pool were all outstanding. Our room was beautiful. The location 2 blocks from downtown Healdsburg is very convenient for walking to area eateries and shops. However, the best resource is the staff. Lucy, the proprietor, and Ann, her innkeeper are the most lovely people and continually went out of there way to guide us in our activity selection and do everything in their power to ensure that our stay was a memorable one, and a vacation worth repeating. They succeeded. A first rate B&B.

We stay in B&Bs a fair amount and we found Camellia to be one of the nicest. The house is charming, with a large pool in the back. Our room was large, had good AC and a nice bathroom. Lucy and her staff were ready to help at all times. Breakfast is copious and tasty. Corny as it sounds, we felt "at home" and look forward to going back.
The Inn is two blocks from the main square in Healdsburg and you can take day trips to Sonoma wine country, Napa, the sea shore etc.

The Camellia Inn was a great choice for my wife and I. Healdsburg itself is a great place- you can stay at the Camellia Inn and walk to at least 6-8 great restaurants and taste wine at 20+ places. The Inn itself has a great variety of food and drinks at all times of the day, and has a fantastic wine reception nightly with quality wines. The service is tremendous. We will be back for our next 5 year anniversary.

We spent one night at the Camellia Inn, in their "budget" room. The room itself was truly miniscule, even by European standards, with a double bed. The large private bathroom for this room is located across the hall. The room is not one where you would spend a lot of time hanging out, but aside from the minor inconvenience of occasionally bumping elbows it was perfectly fine. The price for the room was very reasonable, and we were happy to have found it.

The welcome provided by Lucy and Ann was as wonderful as described here by others. Breakfast was delicious and copious.

The location is excellent, just a couple of blocks from the sublime Cyrus restaurant. We ate in the bar and waddled home poorer but happy.

My husband and I finally took a trip sans children for our 10yr wedding anniversary. We picked Camellia Inn based on reviews, location and price. We were not disappointed. The Camellia Inn staff really was great. Ann and Lucy were more than accommodating - i was impressed by the postcard prior to our arrival offering to make dinner reservations (which we took them up on) and even had a personal postcard upon our return. The Inn itself is in a great location - we walked into town every day. The room we stayed in (Royalty room) was very victorian - charming and clean. Full of antiques - it's not the four seasons as the bathroom is a bit 'old', but that's not what you stay in a B&B for. Bed was one of the comfiest i've ever slept in (although short - if you are really tall, you are going to be hanging off the bed). Breakfast every day was great - there was always a main hot meal with fresh fruit, fresh bread, cereals, coffee, etc. Had a lovely time chatting with the other couples there and the house itself has some fun history. The only downside is that our room was on the lower floor near a type of breezeway and anyone else coming in late at night who passes by with conversation or heels will make a lot of noise. Other than that, we were extremely pleased with our trip overall and the Camellia Inn definitely added to that.
