This place was great! We really loved it... the rooms are classic B&B decorated and man oh man are they clean!

The breakfasts were great - lots of food - very uniquely presented and tasted wonderful.

Close to both the river (kayaking trips) and downtown.

I think the little wine hour they host every evening is a nice twist. And they don't just set out a bottle and say "help yourself". Lots of socializing going on... wineries present their wines... and the appies are delightful.

All in all, I'd say that you'd have to be pretty pickey to find something that's wrong here.

Enjoy - we would go back in a heartbeat!

We spent three fantastic nights at the Hayden Street Inn and it was the highlight of our California/Oregon trip.
The owners Keren and John are more than hospitable and the rooms are clean, quaint, and comfortable (especially the beds - by far the most comfortable I've EVER slept in - it was hard to get up in the morning - the guest books are FILLED with people raving about the beds - they make other hotel's "heavenly beds" feel hard and lumpy by comparison). Each morning John cooks up a filling gourmet breakfast, and every evening they have a small wine and cheese gathering. Both were always available to give hint & tips on outings planned for the day, and they have a large selection of brochures and guides for local attractions.
Location couldn't be better - a two minute walk into the town of Healdsburg on a quiet leafy street. Plenty of parking at the Inn itself.

We all had a wonderful stay at the Haydon Street Inn in Healdsburg. The rooms are really nice and clean and the beds are to die for. The husband/chef is very lovely and helpful and easily approachable. Keren the co-owner tries her best to be hospitable but it doesnt appear easy for her. The outdoor area was great and we especially loved the 6 p.m. wine tastings with appetizers. Good food and very comfortable.

We first stayed at Haydon Street Inn in 2006 shortly after Keren and John began operating the property. We were delighted on our return this year to find it was even better than before. The rooms are pleasant and the breakfasts are terrific. Keren and John have become more knowledgable of the area and are a great resource. We'll certainly stay here again.

This is a wonderful place to stay, in the wine country of Northern California. Located west of Hwy 101, about an hour north of San Francisco, this wonderful home was close enough to the downtown of Healdsburg for a nice four-block walk, and far enough away from the freeway noise. The owners are very knowledgeable of local eateries, points of interest, and the best routes to travel. This B&B is very neat, clean, and orderly. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds are like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast in the morning is simply to die for. You will find no better food in the entire town, and that is one of the best kept secrets kept by the owners. Tuesday nights we all go to the town square for a concert, and our hosts had the requisite wine, cheese and snacks to delight our taste buds. Simply put: Fantastic.

This is what B&B's should be. The hosts John and Keren were friendly and welcoming and made their guests very comfortable. Our room was terrific, w/ a comfy bed and extremely clean. John's breakfast was superb and showed why he was head chef at Churchill Downs. Their wine and cheese hour was also a nice touch. The location is nice, it's easy to find and walking distance from town. This is a great place to stay if you're hanging out in the town of Headlesburg or exploring wine country. Our biggest mistake was not staying there longer!!

We stayed at the Haydon Street B&B for 3 nights. First let me tell you about the good parts. John is a gracious host and prepares exquisite breakfasts. it's very obvious he has a passion for his culinary talents. He was a pleasure to talk with and always warm and charming. The rooms were comfortable, but small and had everything we needed.
Now for the bad. Karen was very distant and at times almost rude. I'm not sure that she even knows shes being rude, but it sure doesn't make for an enjoyable stay. We weren't the only ones that felt that way. Every time Karen would leave the room all the other guests would make jokes about how rude and sometimes offensive she could be. Unfortunately we probably won't be back because I would enjoy spending more time there with John.
We did make some friends during our stay and we all had a great dinner together at Willi's.
