Spent one night at The Beach House at Hermosa in an ocean front room on the 3rd floor. It was a birthday celebration. Beautiful view, private, peaceful. No restaurant on site, they use local restaurants for room service. Small beach community with everything in walking distance from Hotel.

Room Tip: Ocean front 3rd floor.

Pretty nice hotel but fairly pricey. I like being right on the sand and they did a real nice job with service. The rubber ducky in the bathtub was a cute touch

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable

Not much to dislike other than the bill

Room Tip: Try to get a room facing the beach if you can

The location of the hotel right on the beach is great!. There is a laidback atmosphere and the rooms are really comfortable and beautiful. There is everything you need, from bathtub to corkscrew for the wine bottles. However, I would have liked a bit better service and not being woken up every morning by room service.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the second on third floor, facing the ocean. The ones facing towards 13th Street have beautiful views of the sunset.

If you don't like this place then there is something wrong with you. Fabulous location right on beach in the nicest beach [Hermosa] of the Beach Cities in South Bay area of Los Angeles (Hermosa, Redondo, Manhattan Beach).

Just one block from many restaurant choices and the main pier.

Yes it is pricey and there is no restaurant in the hotel itself but the suites are REALLY nice and quite large!

There is a mini kitchen and small fridge and two nice flat screen TV's in each room (with the living area and bedroom in separate areas). Lots of nice touches - crown molding, very nice furnighings and premium lighting really set these rooms apart.

Friendly attentive staff - they have mastered the delicate balance of luxury and casual service.

Although no restaurant inside hotel, there was a nice breakfast room and patio. Our suite had a balcony and view of the beach. Can't wait to go back!

I love this hotel. It's the perfect balance of casual and luxury. You feel spoiled from the minute you walk in. Everyone from the valets, to the front desk, to the maintenance people are friendly and helpful. The room has everything you need and is spacious and beautiful. Can't beat the location- right on the boardwalk and a one minute walk from the main block of Pier Avenue with fun restaurants and beach town shopping. We've stayed there before and will probably stay there again.

Room Tip: Their pricing defines your room. All the rooms are the same except for no view, partial view, or ocean/beach view.
