In the middle of Huntington Beach, attached to the Central Library complex is this beautiful park for walking and thinking and letting your kids run. Lots of trees and grass areas.

This park has miles of wide paths to run, walk, or bike on. Lots of shade trees, and large grass areas to play or relax on. There are a number of benches and picnic table throughout the park. There are also two restaurants in the park.

We've been to the Huntington Central Park many times over the years. It is conveniently located with plenty of parking. It is a nice respite from from the city, with shady trees and pathways to enjoy. Picnic tables are scattered about the park for your convenience.

Excellent pathways. A library with internet. A dog Park. A good outdoor dog friendly restaurant. Pondus. Birds: a bird-watchers delight. Open spaces. Playgrounds. All together wonderful.

This is a place for locals; not in any sense a travel destination for out-of-towners. It's pretty and green and has plenty of room to roam, but doesn't offer any of the amenities that would make it memorable for anyone living farther than a few blocks away. In simplest terms, it's a city park with a couple of small lakes and a nice public library in the middle. You can walk, ride a bike, exercise a little or just sit and take in the greenery. Ah, there are also some baseball diamonds on the south side of the park I've never visited, but I understand we city taxpayers paid more than a fortune for them!
