Such a great hotel for families. Everyone is extra accommodating. Its a beautiful resort, just a short walk from the beach! Would love to go back again! I loved the valet guys, very friendly and very entertaining, always had something nice to say.

Lovely hotel, the staff are very friendly, a special mention to everyone in the grocers shop and to Paulo who gave us some great trips for visiting LA. The hotel is extremely clean, however we could have done without being woken every morning between 08.30 and 09.00hrs by the cleaners! The fire pits dotted around the place and the cosy chairs were a lovely touch especially when you just wanted a bit of time to read and / or drink coffee. One real downside, there is very little for vegetarians to eat, the Waterfall Restaurant is fabulous but there was nothing for veggies, thankfully we eat fish, but otherwise it would have been tricky, and no-one seemed bothered when it was mentioned. The charge of $35 a night to park the car seemed extortionate especially as it was only $18 in LA. Our room was miles away and the balcony was blocked by a massive tree, I did keep asking for a change of room but unfortunately there was apparently nothing available, we stayed for five nights so that was a bit disappointing. Having said all that, I would recommend the hotel as it's in a fab location.

Room Tip: Try and avoid 2421, no view and blocked by a tree

My wife and I spent five nights at the Hyatt Huntington Beach and were extremely impressed. The service throughout the Hotel was outstanding! Most notable, Kristina at the front desk, Austin by the pool and Dominic at Pete's Bar. All three went out of their way to ensure a memorable experience for us as well as other guests.

The food throughout the resort was outstanding as well. From simple pizza and salad, to breakfast and dinners. All were exceptionally prepared and tastful.

Overall......Great job by the management and team members here!

This is a fairly nice hotel for holding a conference or other business activities. One half of the hotel property is oriented for gathering groups into conference rooms with views or blocking outside disturbances. There are several high quality options for food and drink on-premise including a late night lounge. The beach is also within walking distance. Heading into town requires a vehicle but there is plenty to keep busy for a couple of days without leaving the property. Note: the hotel is wide rather than tall with only three levels for rooms

I came to visit my husband while he was on work travel in Huntington and we were lucky enough to stay at the beautiful Hyatt Regency here. The location is superb, right across the street from the beach, the room we stayed in (upgraded to a suite!) had a wonderful waterview. The grounds are huge, there is a really nice gym available for use, several pools, with an adult only pool area, and a beautiful fountain in the center grounds. It is really close to tons of restaurants and nightlife, walking distance if you are mobile (about a mile) or an easy drive. Our room had a beautiful deck that was perfect for sunbathing, loved that feature! There are several restaurants onsite, we only ate at one (the more casual dining Pete’s Sunset Grill – skip it, it was not great and over priced) that I wouldn’t recommend, but we did hear good things about the other locations, one of which was closed due to construction. Parking was pretty expensive and the only option is valet so be prepared to shell out $20+ even for non-overnight parking. My only complaint was there was construction going on while we were there for renovation, which was a little disruptive but luckily they didn’t start working till later in the day so it wasn’t overly intrusive. I had also asked for a toiletry item I had forgot (they have some in stock to give to customers who forget things like tooth brush, deodorant, etc) and I had to call back three times before someone finally brought stuff up to me, which was a little surprising – that and the construction for the price point of the hotel are what dropped my otherwise 5 star rating down to a 4 star. We would definitely be back to this property, it was beautiful and the service over all is very good.

Room Tip: The suites have lovely balconies and ocean views

We have just left this hotel and didn't want to leave! It was outstanding. We were completely blown away by the beauty of the hotel, its facilities and its amazingly attentive staff who fell over themselves to help you - each and every one of them, regardless of whether they were helping you or just passing you, greeted and treated you like royalty. I can't recommend it highly enough. We had very high expectations having just left a fantastic hotel in San Diego but were not disappointed at all. Our only disappointment was that Huntington Beach itself was nowhere near as nice as SD but thankfully as the hotel was so amazing it made up for it.

The Hyatt regency was our 4 day oasis in a 20 day whistlestop tour of California! From the moment we checked in we felt relaxed , happy and pampered! This is a beautiful property with
real class and style. The club floor, pools ,beach access and service were all tremendous.
We were fortunate to have a tremendous view of the beach and enjoyed the easy walk to the
pier and downtown several times. The hotel is certainly very expensive but justifys the price tag.
The only minor disappointment is that our wedding anniversary was not acknowledged at all by
the resort as Asian resorts have always done in the past. Never mind a fantastic stay at a great
property.
