“Beautiful August Night!”

Orange County Coast
Reviewed 28 August 2017

Water was cold, but the beach was clean and fun for our 9 year old. After a long day of traveling and hiking up 31 stories to visit the Griffith Observatory, our kiddo put on his trunks and fought the waves. It was great entertainment.

Very nice beach.

Traveling through California, we begun our trip in San Diego and headed up north taking scenic Route 1 also known as Pacific Cost Hwy with its panoramic views of the cliffs and the Pacific Ocean.
We made sure to open our windows and breath in the relaxing smell of the salty ocean. The area is very romantic and we made sure to stop and watch the sun setting into the ocean. We were mesmerized; no wonder people fall in love with this place.

I've lived off of Pacific Coast Highway for close to 20 years. It's beautiful and I keep taking photographs of the most awesome sunsets. The beach is nice and there are many small shops and restaurants. It is a small town feel and people are friendly. You can walk for miles. We are motorcyclists, so traveling this route is awesome and you never get tired of it. There are also places where you can rent kayaks or just enjoy the beach for fun and peace and quiet.

This is the best place to take dogs. Huntington Beach has a dog beach. Dogs can also walk along the sidewalk that runs along the beach. If you travel further south, there's Newport Beach and Fashion Island--dogs are welcome. Even further south, there's Laguna Beach, that allows dogs on the beach off season. But dogs are welcome around town and in the park overlooking the ocean all year round

We had a great bike rider from Huntington beach up to Seal Beach... miles without cars, it was fantastic.
