“Nice and Family Friendly”
Reviewed 1 January 2014

Nice, family friendly resort in the desert. Large rooms, ours had a pullout (rumored to be standard) which is great for family bedding. Generous with package breakfast/meal credits applied to folio. Lots of pool options, with seven smallish pools and chairs - only complaint is poolside service can be a little slow.

My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon and it was superb! The hotel is spotless and as soon as you arrive, there is an air of luxury. Alexandra on reception was delightful and made us feel very welcome. We were upgraded to a villa on arrival and it was lovely. The hotel grounds are gorgeous and the swimming pool area is peaceful and relaxing. We ate at the hotel restaurant both nights and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning to this hotel!

Love this place!
The resort is beautiful with well manicured ground, well equipped gym, spacious room and plenty of pools for kids, family and adults!
The room is spacious with seating area and beautiful bathroom! The bed is very comfy with many soft pillows! The resort has many pools for family with water slide for kids! The Oasis adult pool is pretty swanky with plenty of chairs and cabanas! The pool is opened till 10pm and heated! There is plenty of activities offered by the resort such as night movie fat the pool, bicycles, foosball, ping pong tables, bocce ball, etc. and of course the beautiful golf course!
The staff is friendly especially Chad the evening manager!
This is our favorite place to get away from the busy hassle city (2-3 hour drive from LA)!
There are many restaurants in the area like Roy's, Flemming, Ruth Chris, etc.
And if you are looking for adventure, the Tahquitz Canyon is not far away and is a beautiful hike with water fall in the middle of the desert!

Room Tip: Ask for high floor and pool view

This is a great choice in the Palm Springs desert area if service is not important to you. The rooms are quite nice as are the pools and restaurants. The problem is the service. Across the board, it was abysmal. They don't answer the phone. They don't return messages. They don't clean - non-responsive to multiple requests for room cleanings, left trash strewn around the pool and athletic areas - requested cleanup at 5 pm and found the same trash everywhere at 10 am the next day. I spoke to managers in each case and nothing was done. Lines at the front desk every time I was there. The beds are short-sheeted, so the bottom sheet comes undone and you are sleeping on the mattress - night after night the same despite our requests otherwise. They clearly have both training and staffing issues that extend to the management, as they were basically indifferent to our requests.

We've stayed here dozens of times over the years and recently visited a friend staying here. We were reminded of how nice this property is. Tons of decorations. Amazing pool area. The adult pool area is special -- quiet, great view, plenty of comfortable chairs, bar, etc. The rooms are spacious and generally have good mountain views. They have great amenities, including a terrific gym facility that opens up to the outdoors. Getting regency club is usually worth it and the food is good. Eating breakfast outside on their private patio is always fun. Minuses include their beds which aren't as comfortable as comparable hotels and the fact that they charge for parking in addition to a resort fee.

This resort was recently renovated in a luxurious west coast style, our penthouse suite was fantastic, the pools and gardens are fun and beautiful, the SPA is very good too and the fitness room amazing. Service is corteous and efocient.

This resort has to be one of the 3 top choices in Palm Dprings.

Room Tip: There are several excellent restaurants close by, but las Cazuelas is one of our favourites.
