Stayed here as am alternative to close neighbour the Renaissance Esmeralda, which after 5stays wore the welcome off the mat!
So chose Hyatt and booked a club room. The club lounge is run very well and staff very attentive, which is more than I can say for front desk.were advised before arriving that upgrade to suite if available on arrival, when asked Oh! Yes ,well sorry we don't have any vacancies,we found
That not to be true,so a few days later asked again, yes we have got 93 percent occupancy.
Not being a great dog love found a guest bringing one into club lounge nearly put me off my breakfast, continually walking around picking up food with dog in his arms.
Then absolutely astounded when he turned up at adult pool and put dog on a towel on sunbed.
This is supposed to be a 4star resort.
Biggest fault now have a maned barrier to car park and charge 10dollars a day to park car, some nights it was full.I complained bitterly and got charges refunded. Will look for somewhere else
Next Christmas as we go there each year.

Room Tip: Book a club room and use club lounge for breakfast.

We went over the Xmas period just for something different. Weather was around 80F at noon.Good choice of Pools with a Kids Only facility. Also an Adults Only pool.Great! Rooms were spacious and well kept. Television was well positioned but had a somewhat limited choice of 28 channels and no on-screen Menu to find the station required. A comfortable desk for my paperwork and a 2-place sofa for watching T.V. if needed. (I spent more time on the nicely sized balcony.) Room Safe, Small Fridge, Coffee Maker, Iron and Room Robe were provided.
Choice of locations for food but only one Restaurant for real meals. The Breakfast buffet was dissapointing with a limited choice. We expected better for $26 a head. The Agave Sunset bar was good and served a fine choice of Snack Food. An excellent Spa for daily workout was available. Lobby located Computers were handily available. The grounds were beautifully laid out and maintained. Good Parking is available but a little far to reach for those with disabilities. Make sure you have agreed on the parking rates at time of booking as they do vary. The setting is idylic with mountains all around. It's about 20 Kms from downtown Palm Springs with lots of shopping in between. You do need a car for sure. Overall, we were delighted with the Hotel and would stay there again. P.S. Great location for Golfing.

Room Tip: Specify beforehand the choice of overlooking the Swimming Pools or the Golf Course. The Pools view...

Beautiful, clean rooms and great sound insulation. The pool area for adults only is genius--just wish they didn't have cheezy music playing all day. Will definitely stay again. The restaurant, which was highly rated, was just so so---better places outside of the hotel for sure.

Not only spacious, my room was beautifully furnished. And the grounds are magnificent. Nice food and gracious staff made for a perfect getaway. I loved everything and will look for reasons to return soon.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The entrance is stunning, grounds well maintained and beautiful with a canopy of queen palms. The room was extra spacious, though the furniture was outdated and idiosyncratic. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. The food in the restaurant was very good, well seasoned, fresh and of high quality. The spa is outstanding, and there are numerous pools, waterslides, and an adult pool area. This is a wonderful place for individuals, and families.

Went to the Rose Bowl and this was one of the closest locations that was available. By the time we landed in Palm Springs it was already getting dark. The Hyatt is located around 15 miles from the Palm Springs airport but took around 45 minutes to arrive at the resort due to traffic. The resort is located with a couple of other properties but a very nice drive from the busy street into the property. Missed the hotel entrance from the busy street as the sign is very small and away from the road. Could not really see much as it was dark. Lots of people checking in so a bit congested out front with all of the cars. Check in went smoothly and the front desk person was very helpful. We went with the "standard room" and could choose our floor from levels 1-4. We selected the level 4 facing the pool area. Room was very spacious and well done. Had a balcony which overlooked several of the pools (7 in total). Very pretty even at night. Room did smell a bit musty but not really too bad. Chose the self parking for $10 per night vs the valet at $25 per night. As it was new years eve no chance of getting into any of the restaraunts, so we went out. Halls were very quiet despite New Years parties and people arriving at all hours in their rooms. Had to leave fairly early for the Rose Bowl the next morning but it was light out and was able to see more of the resort. Very pretty grounds and very very well kept. Came back from the Rose Bowl around 9 PM and ordered room service. Said order would take around 25 to 45 minutes. Food came well before that and was very tasty. Check out the next moring was very smooth despite the early time of 4:30 AM. The place is definately a class act. We would have liked to have more time at the resort to enjoy the pools and activities as well as the weather. Very family orientated. Only drawback was the parking and the fee even for self parking. You need your room card to enter and exit the lot but at night they open the gates for anyone to park. The lot is fairly small so we had to drive around several times to attempt to find a spot. We finally had to park in a spot reserved for the spa and hoped the car would not get towed. If going to spend more time there I would definately upgrade to the club level. Higher floors and lounge available for not that much more money. Overall very pleased with the selection and stay.

Room Tip: Select the club level. Standard rooms are OK but for the difference it would be worth it.

AAA rate on a double queen with 2 breakfast buffet include turned out to be excellent value for our family. Kids (7 and 4) loved the pools and water slide. Excellent service. Clean facility. Larger than average room with sitting area. Food is expensive but costs can be managed. Beds were a bit uncomfortable.

Room Tip: Lower level pool side have patio access.
