I came here for a two-training class. We were provided breakfast & lunch that were both garden variety.

The ambiance is very nice. The pool, the grounds and the room were well appointed. The only thing odd about the room is the toilet paper dispenser

The service was very good. All of the workers greeted me, and were super polite and friendly. However, a couple of things that could have been better: They do not leave your bill for you under the door.

Would I spend my own $200 (special group rate) here? Prolly not. There are better places to stay for less.

Other reviews seem pretty accurate, although the irritating factor for me was the $28 resort charge. This is a multi-building hotel complex with a pool-- definitely not a resort like other in this area. No golf, no tennis. A nice spa, but we certainly paid extra for that. Just way overpriced for what I got (between Coachella and Stagecoach). Certainly the "resort" was paid for by a room charge in excess of $400! Housekeeping is a bit of an issue, as described elsewhere, and rooms could use a refresh. But pretty grounds, decent restaurant and a very nice spa together with a good location. Not a spot for kids.

Nice grounds, superb service, delightful food. Recommend rooms away from main pool due to loudness. Room FYI: The basic rooms do not have a balcony/patio. There is cocktail service at adult pool. Comfortable beds.

Stayed here for our trip to Coachella. All we talked about was coming back just to stay here.

Staff was friendly, room swede spacious and pool area was awesome. Plenty of chairs at the pool and if its crowded they have too. The grounds are nice with lots of small seating in garden areas. Location is great, not to far from anything and close to the golf corse.

Food and breakfast were great. They offered latent pizza but ran out. Don't offer if you can't deliver.

Room Tip: get a view of the mountains if you can.

I took my sister to this resort last month for some R & R- Keep in mind this is an older property and I knew that going in. The grounds are very well kept and the pool areas as well. I had read the reviews and was a bit worried about the rooms smelling like mold but they assured me that they had been renovated so I went ahead and booked. They need to have management, maintenence and housekeeping meet to discuss room maintenence and attention to detail. In our room from the toilet view if you look up above the mirror the wall is cracking and chipped (easy fix) the night stand that separates the two beds have a drawer that wont stay closed so someone took a piece of cardboard and wedged it in to hold it shut. The metal plate cover that roomservice brings your food on was outside on the patio for two days and not picked up by housekeeping. There was an empty hanger with a tag hanging over it saying "enjoy the use of the robe while you are here" but there were no robes. On the second day i tipped our house keeper $10.00 bucks and asked her for robes and she brought slippers as well. Our room was cleaned promptly every day after but she still needed to talk to maintenence about the issues. Over all the staff was really nice in all departments, and the filet mignon was excellent and the meal was moderately priced. The spa was really awesome as well. Keep in mind that this is an old facility- My last advice is that management and maintenence should close down one room a month in the off season and inspect, fix and take care of the problems before they get any more complaints.

Room Tip: if you are traveling without kids ask for a room in the back of the hotel by the adult pool - Yes I said adult pool! Very tranquil.
