“Healthy food, Great Value, Cool Cafeteria Concept”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

Dined here on a Thursday night, arrived early to get a seat at the big table and avoid lines. Line ran out the door and down the sidewalk but moved quickly. Enjoyed seeing the food prepared, checking out what was available, seeing all the great local products. Great decor, feel of a big family gathering. Prices are great considering food is fresh, local and tasty. Our party had the Salmon, Pizza, Steak, Salads, mac n cheeze, beets with goat cheeze, greens n beans.
Definately worth the wait so be patient! Hope to see more of these places across the country!

“Good prices, very crowded”
Reviewed 25 July 2014

The variety of food and vegetarian options are good at this restaurant. It's a cafeteria style restaurant and the line was very long to order. We sat at their long table in the center of the room and it was a nice long table but there were people standing near me while I was eating since the restaurant was so busy. I had four sides (carrots, broccoli, beet salad, and quinoa. They were all good except the carrots, they were really dry and flavorless. The custom watermelon, pineapple drink was just ok. I would return but either at off hours or when the hype of this place dies down. The prices are good and the portion sizes are large.

“Many choices, fresh and tasty”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

This restaurant is one of our new favorites...one orders cafeteria style, but we don't mind that, as it gives you the opportunity to see the food first before you select it. There many choices, and all the entrees seem to range between $5 - $12, from individual pizzas to entrees with 2 side dishes; everything we and our grown children have had there so far has been very good. The decor is very simple- sort of anti-decor, really: simple tables and chairs or banquettes along the short walls separating the service area from the seating area, but done in warm woodsy tones. There is also a seating area outside, including a group table with a small fire pit in the center - very nice. We really enjoy this place - my husband usually has the salmon with a vegetable or two or a salad ($11 or $1); my favorite is the '4 up', which is your choice of 4 different side dishes ($10) - and I usually enjoy the macaroni and cheese (excellent!), brussels sprouts sauteed with bacon, quinoa salad, and 1 more (or another portion of one of them)....there is always enough for me to eat enough and then to take some home for another good meal. They also serve beer and wine if you wish, and the desserts look delicious, although I've never had room left to try one. A really good choice for families with different food tastes!

“Excellent value for money, something for everyone!”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

This restaurant came highly recommended. So, last weekend, Saturday, we went and were very pleasantly surprised. The downside is that you have to stand and wait, cafeteria style. However, if you Stonefire Grill, you will really like Urban Plates, since the food is just as good or better and MUCH better value for money.
Service with a smile, relatively healthy choices available and definitely a casual place which doesn't put a dent in your pocket.

“I dont quite understand the love”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

Everyone loves this place but we ordered five different combinations from different stations and we were all very unsatisfied with the taste/flavor of the food. I cant say i'd ever go back.
