I was really hyped about this place as it promises award winning beef noodle. However, when the noodle came, it doesn't live up to the hype at all. The noodle itself is more than decent, but that's about the only thing worth mentioning. The beef is not flavorful at all, it could use another hour or two (at least) in the pot. I mean, it's soft enough to serve but the meat hasn't even absorb enough flavor. Tendon is acceptable but nothing fantastic. The tripe is not bad but it stayed in the pot a little bit too long. The soup itself lacks depth and flavor. It's not overly salty as most other restaurant but it's still not that great. At the end of the day, this type of noodle doesn't deserve any award, in my opinion.

Arrived at 9 PM with party of 2 (restaurant closed at 10 PM). The captain stopped the young waiter from seating us on a 4 person table (that was just two 2-person tables combined together) stating that those tables are reserved for larger group (really doubt that will be the case this late in the evening). Has to wait for 10 minutes for the 2 person table to open up. While we were waiting, several other 2-people parties also prevented from seating; the larger tables continue to remain empty.

Order the award winning shank, tendon, and frank beef noodle soup. The broth tasted like soy sauce water instead of well cooked, rich flavoured beef noodle broth. The noodle was under cooked (it is not even close to al dente). The good part of the whole meal is the beef is nice and tender, but that is about it.

An award winning restaurant should be consistent on the dish it provided, from the first bowl when the store open until the last dish push out from the kitchen. Had a high hope coming to this restaurant but was truly disappointed by the meal and the table management need some improvement.
