The entrance looks very nice, but it is as nice as it gets.... Don't be fool by grand look at the front entrance; ask to look at a room before you check in. You will then agree with all the bad reviews published on this web site.

It looks like the hotel was remodeled from an old nursing home. The remodel was not complete either; there are still traces of the old structures left behind -- eg. hall way, and doors.

Please stay away from this hotel and find yourself a better place instead. Even though it is rated 3-star hotel, it is worse than the 2-stars that i have stayed before..

When you walk in the front door and check in, pass through the pool area with it's beautiful cabanas and outdoor bar, on your way to your room it is quite lovely. However....the moment you step into your room you have entered a time warp! A room with peeling wallpaper, outdated huge televisions, peach print wornout, faded bedspreads and drapes, and a worn looking barcalounger that may or may not recline. Just try not to spend time in your room! The pool area is so very nice and the grilled chicken caesar salad is awesome. The manager of the restaurant treats all guests with the utmost courtesy and service. He should be working at a much higher end property with his great customer service skills!

July 21, 1011.. I believe in sharing good and bad.... The good, well the restaurant food except buffet was good. The bad - It took two days to get my shower working (other than a trickle) and they wouldn't move me. The room was shades of the 70's and bathroom counter had stains and cracks. On Thursday they had a private party at the pool and music, sorry LOUD music until past 10 pm. When I went the bar for a glass of wine I was told that the selections of all beverages was minimal that night because all of the beverages were focused on the private party. So room patrons were out of luck. Horrible experience and wouldn't recommend to anyone and the wi-fi only works in lobby.

Throw back to the 70's. Actually, everthing in this hotel appears to be original. The curtains in my room had worn through holes as if eaten by moths and a small to match. You could only use the tub in a featle position. The only current thing about the hotel is the pool area and landscaping. This could be an excellent hotel to stay in worth much more if it was only renovated to at least the '90's. Shame to the owner. I won't be staying here again. The photos are misleading.Oh! And no wireless internet, just a physical cable connection - left over from the late '90's.

The rating/review on tripadvisor is terrible. Only stayed here because it's booked by the host in Irvine. After a two-night stay, don't think it's that bad, but may try other hotels in the area next time.

Pros: large room, helpful staff, nice courtyard and pool
cons: distance between buildings are too far and elevators are located even further away.

Well, if you had to stay a night, this place might not be so horrible. I stayed here for a week +. And well, I will say they try. but it is just an old hotel with a bad attempt at an update. So here we go. They have obviously redecorated at some point, the bathrooms and all surfaces in the sleeping part are all matching granite, which was nice, but then there is a second sink in with the shower that is still the old yellowed porcelain. Why not change it all? our in wall sliding bathroom door was old and ill fitting to the point where it closed at the top and had a solid inch of opening at the bottom. The ceiling had been patched several times from leaks I assume, but the patch work was shoddy. The beds were very very hard and as others mentioned very outdated. As is the tube style television. Another weird thing is they have all the rooms circuit breakers in the hallways. so you can feasibly walk around and shut off peoples power. We were here at a reduced rate due to a multiple room contract, however I feel even then it was a bit pricey for what it was. (>$100) The Bartenders were very nice and friendly. Front desk was a little matter of fact, but that is ok I suppose. I would only stay here for a quick overnight do to the close proximity of the airport. this is convenient I will say that. Otherwise. well I would give it 21/2 stars but since I can't it goes down. not up....

I had a very unpleasant experience at the hotel. They brag about their complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel, however, when we called they forgot to send the shuttle, so we waited over 25 minutes...far too long considering the hotel is less than a mile away. Someone else who ended up in the shuttle was waiting even longer. Then the shuttle driver shared with us that had been very busy. Apparently a hotel guest wanted to be moved to the Radisson down the street so the shuttle took him there. That should have been my first clue that it was not going to be a great experience.

When we finally arrived it was almost 10 pm and were hungry. Too bad the restaurant closed at 9. Room service stops at 9 pm as well. What hotel does that? We asked for options and we were told we could call Dominoes Pizza or walk (no offer of the shuttle) down the street to the IHOP. If you are not going to offer food, you should at least find viable options for your guests. The front desk staff was not helpful at all and they were very slow.

I was further disappointed by the ancient age of the room...do hotels really still carry quilted polyester bedspreads? The gross foam like blankets were not even triple sheeted. The fabric chair and desk chair were gross...only tolerable to use if you put a towel down.

I will say that dining in restaurant for breakfast was okay...the servers were pleasant and the buffet was fine, but over priced. Good thing since I was starving.

I would not recommend anyone to stay here.
