We have had group dinners here twice and we have had two great outings . The food it fresh and tasty and the price is average compared to other restaurants in this area. The owners of this Italian restaurant are great people and work very hard to please you and they take pride in their establishment. Well worth a try if your traveling threw Jackson CA.

We were given a recommendation to try this place for lunch. The food was reasonably priced, service was great and food was very good and very ample size. It’s a small, quaint, locally owned Italian place with an lower and upper level as you enter from the street, that has a little different menu for lunch that is not just Italian. We tried the pulled pork sandwich with garlic fries, the BLT, and the specialty chicken salad that was on the top of the list (sorry, I can’t remember what it was called). All were excellent! We can’t give any opinions about dinner, but lunch we would definitely do there again.

Bella Rosa is a gem! We decided to have dinner there when we discovered the restaurant we planned on going to was closed on Thurs. nights.
What an unexpected delightful dinner! Italian at it's best! We enjoyed a leisurely meal with a great bottle of Scotto Vineyard wine.
The pesto and garlic spread offered with the bread was delicious. Couldn't get enough of it! We began our meals with a wonderful blue cheese dressing salad that we shared (thank heaven because it was large and plentiful). Then ordered the scampi appetizer which will be one of our main courses with bread to dip in the yummy sauce when we return for another meal.
Our main courses were chicken picatta (fabulous) and raviolis. Best ravioli and sauce I've ever eaten. The service was excellent and friendly. It was a meal we will remember and savor.
Truly look forward to our next visit there!

The restaurant is located just in front of the turnoff from highway 49 into the historic district. The restaurant is small and rather quaint with up stair and down stair seating. The menu is adequate, the food prepared and presented well and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant has a good and varied menu.

We had a wonderful Itlaian meal at this resraurant - pasta with meat sauce and chicken parmesan - both excellent. The waitress was great about bringing us additional bread with the dipping oil and parmesan (delicious), though we had to be careful not too each too much of it (we didn't want to get full too fast). To cap off the meal, we each had dessert - I had the Tiramisu (very good) while my spouse had the lemon cake (wonderful).
