This golf course is very scenic since you are going way up into the mountains. So you are going to get some great views as well as some awesome tee shots. That said there is not much else to rave about this golf course. Lets start off we were expecting some nice club house where we can go and get a good breakfast and lunch. It is more like a municipal course club house. Plastic tables and seats and food cooked in the microwave. Also way over priced for the stuff you are getting. Next lets talk about the men's bathroom. Seriously? just one urinal and toilet at the clubhouse? Pretty disgusting not well maintained. Golf carts needs some upgrading as well. The brakes are shot cause of all the hills you have to go through. Therefore, coming down a steep hill and the brakes are fully locked you will not be stopping. So don't tailgate your friend. Their GPS is not visual just a black and green screen with distance.

This is also a very short course and not too many memorable holes. All in all not really worth it.

We paid a significant amount of money to play and really didn't find it as nice as several of the municiple courses, like the Crossings at Carlsbad. We're not snooty golf people so I don't think we fit in. The Meadows course was surrounded by houses and while we certainly weren't being rushed, we also felt we were in someone's backyard because of the narrow fairways and homes on each side. Its an okay course, but with all of the options we won't be back.
