My 11 yr old son and I stayed here for two nights over the Labor Day weekend. We arrrived before check in, but they had just finished cleaning our room, so we were able to get settled. Our room had a sliding glass door out to the patio with a charcoal bbq and view of the ocean. The bed was comfortable and clean.

There was a wood burning fireplace (wood and fire starter provided), high arched ceiling, microwave, small fridge, direct TV, and DVD player. Bathroom was roomy, but bathtub/shower was black colored so hard to see if it was clean or dirty (it was clean, I just didn't like the color. Sheets were thin and towels were worn, and only two bath towels. The outdoor hot tub was nice in the evening, (ask for towels before you get in). The price was reasonable.

It is not in Jenner proper, it is about a 30 minute drive North of Jenner, and it is remote! The store across the street from the Lodge closes at 5 or 6:00 p.m.. There are no places to eat near the Lodge so be prepared to either have food on hand or drive up or down the coast to find a restaurant. There was only one place open in Jenner for dinner and it was booked solid, but they let us eat at the bar (River's End). The second night we at at the Blue Heron in Duncan Mills.

Nothing wrong with the Lodge, very nice. Next time we would probably stay in Duncan Mills or Bodega Bay just for the convenience of being closer to larger beaches and places to eat.

We stayed at the Lodge for one night. Although it had a decent view of the ocean there was no easy way to walk to the beach. We stayed in Room 4 which came with a wood stove and a BBQ. We did not use it instead drove a mile north to the Timbercove Inn Restaurant. there is no wifi and the manager was not particular friendly. I would not stay there again.

We stayed here with the kids on a road trip up the coast.

We came from Guerneville where we swam and canoed at Johnson's Beach. The road from Jenner to this property is extremely windy with lots of tight turns.

This is a very isolated location just north of Fort Ross. There is a general store across the street. We had a nice room with a wood burning fireplace and nice views. It was a cozy place to stay.

They had a jacuzzi at the property, but the water was only warm and not hot, so we didn't stay long.

They did not provide breakfast.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday weekend. What an awesome place! We stayed in room 14, which is part of a group of rooms close to the ocean. We had a great view of the coast from our patio, which comes with it's own bbq and hottub. There's no cell phone or internet service, which I actually ended up enjoying. There is a payphone outside of the office, just in case you need to make a call. The room itself was spacious and clean. It has a woodburning stove as well, which adds to the coziness of the place. We will definitely stay here again.

Also the woman at the front desk and her husband (who does the maintenance) are very pleasant and helpful.

Stayed here one night on our recent North California holiday. The location was excellent and the room very spacious, clean and good value for money. The BBQ facility was easy to use and don't worry about the charcoal (or getting it lit) as it is provided in a special container which makes lighting it very easy. I don't know anywhere else where you can BBQ whilst watching deer in the field opposite and then wake up in the morning to humming birds on the patio!
Just one point to note is that the store opposite can quickly run out of BBQ food so if you are planning to arrive later in the afternoon it might be best to bring your BBQ food with you.
Will definitely stay here again and next time for longer.

Room Tip: Book early as it quickly gets booked up.

Modest. Clean, well maintained, accomodating and pleasant staff. BBQ, microwave, some cable TV, refrigerator. Some rooms available with fireplace.

Room Tip: The rooms with unobstructed ocean views are a little more expensive.

Our room at the Fort Ross Lodge was spacious and comfortable. We appreciated having a fridge & microwave in the room, but they need to be cleaned. The TV is old and there is no cell phone / internet service in the area, which we didn't mind though, it was a good opportunity to relax and read a book. All in all, it was an ok stay, but we would book a room at another place next time (driving by, the towns of Elk and Albion looked quite nice).
