This is the first hotel that we have picked from Tripadviser that was a big mistake, how it got to number 3 I dont know.
Great staff, nice pool and resaurant, but dated rooms and terrible bathrooms.
The bathroom has a bad smell that was always there and we stayed 4 nights, it has a plastic door held together with sticky tape, a shower that has a curtain but bad drainage so nearly half the bathroom has water on the floor, cracked and mildew tiles to name some of the faults, the bedroom is very dated with two sheets on the bed nothing else with a 75mm foam mattres and lumpy hard pillows, the main door dos'nt have a spy hole but as the cracks in it are big enough to post mail through them you dont need one. Maybe we should have asked for a room change, but as that many people were changing rooms I dont think we would have got any better.
The other thing is that many ladies of the night were brought into the hotel it was hard to know what sort of hotel we were in.

Room Tip: I dont think there any, as we had a superior poolside room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay so much that we extended for two more nights. Unfortunately it was already booked up by then so we had to switch rooms, which meant an upgrade for only another $4/night. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only complaint is the bathrooms could definitely use some updating and both rooms we were in the bathrooms had a funky smell (but that seems to be the pattern in all of Cambodia). The best part was the pool! We spent more time lounging by the pool, sipping on Angkor drafts and fruit shakes than at the beach. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, we would recommend staying just for that reason. I had an oil massage at the resort spa and it was amazing! The restaurant has really good food for fair prices, and the breakfast was some of the best we've had in SE Asia. Location is perfect - walking distance to the nightlife but far enough that it is quiet. We rented a motorbike on site and drove to Otres beach every day. Would definitely recommend that beach over any of the others. Needless to say, we had an awesome stay and will definitely be visiting again!

We visited as a family of 6 (my mom, wife, 3 boys ages 10-8-8, and myself). Had a twin room in the second floor and a family room near the pool. The rooms are ok, family room was huge and slept 4 comfortably in 1 king, 1 queen and 1 twin bed. Bathrooms could be improved as shower is not separated form the rest so the floor is always wet.
It is a 7-minute walk away from Ochheuteal beach.
The best features are the pool and breakfast. Regarding the pool, the loungers are always occupied so try to get yours as early as possible, and I recommend getting one in the shade as it gets too hot during the day. Regarding breakfast, our sons ate their weight worth of omelettes, bacon, french toast, yoghourt, fruit...
It was good value, and a good experience for my family. Although we found the beach too busy and ended up buying day passes to the wonderful private beach in Sokha Beach resort.

Very good management, english speaking, nice pool. The salon at the hotel was very nice. I had a few waxing treatments and it was the best I had in Asia - UK trained and UK products. I kjdsahflkaewgljaewg

The reality is you pay a lot for this hotel (for Cambodia) and the reason is the pool! Great pool, nice loungers clean pool, great for lazy relaxed days. The staff are friendly and hard working, the rooms are clean and nice and the breakfast is really good (omelet's are great)! One thing that was a little of putting is the amount of young girls with old men, feels like it is almost a meeting point, apart from that all good.

Is quiet spot for occhetreal beach, pool ok, sun loungers impossibly hot, very expensive for what it is!! There are other hotels for same price and better

Great place. We had been on Koh Rong island for 4 nights and the ladies were wanting a bit of luxury so we booked here. Got a poolside room for $55 US a night. Rooms were nice. AC. Hot water. Fridge. TV. Breakfast included. Sat by pool every night and drank beer. Very small resort so maybe 20 people around pool in daytime. At night, only a few of us. Luna was very helpful and gave us tips on where to get the best seafood on beach (even though we were not going to be frequenting her own restaurant). The daytime guy (not Danny but the other guy), forgot his name, sorry, was very helpful and arranged a super tuk-tuk tour for us for 4 hours for $30 US for 4 of us. Was worth the $ as saw all the tourist things in Sihanoukville. He also arranged our bus back to Phnom Pehn. Sihanoukville is great. Beach a little crowded but did all our swimming on Koh Rong. Keep your eyes peeled for lots of places that sell 50 cent US Archa draft on beach and in restaurants. some places 75 cents or a dollar. Ate lots of seafood dishes at local stands for about $3 US. Fish all looked fresh and packed in ice. Never got sick. Our taxi driver told us that 80% of people in Cambodia eat dog - curried dog. Was trying to find some to try but no luck. They probably don't serve to tourists. Only thing is have to stick in groups of 2 or more and stay where tourists are. Walked down a street by myself in morning looking for shops and wound up in locals neighbourhood. Got some weird looks and quickly hightailed it back to the main strip.

Room Tip: Book a poolside. Even though 3 blocks from beach the pool is nice to swim in and sit by.
