Just returned from a 5 night stay. This is a lovely place. Pool is amazing with fantatic views. Staff are very helpful. Hut number 4 was clean spacious with fab views. Pagoda is located out of town and is a 5 dollar tuk tuk ride back from serendipity beach. The 2 beaches are amazing quality. The o'tres beach is much cleaner and less likely to be hassled by the local kids.
We got a taxi from the pnomnh pen airport. This was 60 dollar for 4 people and its about 3 hours of hectic driving!

Myself and my boyfriend had a wonderful time while staying at the Pagoda Rocks. We are normally backpackers but decided to splash out for his birthday and we weren't disappointed. The staff were so nice and always willing to help in any way. Our room was a great size and we had a lovely balcony with a partial sea-view. The food was quite pricey though and the plug in our bathtub was broken which meant that the water would fill up while having a shower. But this didn't take away from the lovely time we had here.
Sihanoukville town itself is disgusting, we spent a couple of days there afterwards and were so happy that we had stayed at Pagoda. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent rooms although the location is a bit out of the way. Definitely better to have your own transport. The rooms are all bungalows and are very quiet and spacious. But the best part of them hotel is the infinitely pool with views out to the harbor and sea. Had dinner here the first night and the food was ok, if a little overpriced. Although not too many nice entires in the town.

OUr party of 5 adults was hoping for a relaxing, quiet and gentle place to stay just out of the town of Sihanoukville. Pagoda Rocks Boutique resort is advertised as the areas prime accommodation with quiet views over the bay. It was not as we had anticipated for a number of reasons and we were all so disappointed.
There were 4 key things for us not recommending this place to stay
1. the staff greeted us as if we were interrupting their peaceful existence. Many seem to live on site in a house right near the pool. We did not feel that special something akin to welcome and fun when we arrived. Rather, we were met with sideways glances and glum faces
2. The huts were 'tired' not particularly clean and had bathroom leaks. They overlooked the water for sure, but the port, not the town beach. They also overlooked the busy highway to the port. Water views yes, but the constant noise of highway and port noise coming up from below did not augur well for peace. Glad i took earplugs!
Loud music emanated from the hillside from 6am till 12 daily, so an early start each day
3. Very unsatisfactory in house food menu and no vegetarian options. Breakfast was on one day inedible, was sent back to the kitchen and returned almost the same. The so called free transport to town was in two delapidated vehicles. Yes, it did add to the character, but when we had to pay for the 'free' transport and pay for 2 vehicles because one could not take the load, it was a bit rich.
4. Its too far to walk to town and a bike ride would test the legs and riding skills, so that option is out. Sihanoukville was disappointing too with significant of child and female adult prostitution apparent. The beach looks nice at dusk, but why go for the view? Wouldn't you want to swim in clean water too?
We met some expat 'locals and some local locals who were lovely, but that's still not enough to recommend this place
Would we recommend this place to stay? Not to anyone. Would we go to Sihanoukville again? Never again. Was it worth the effort? Voted no by 5 adults.
We left 3 days early and went back to the capital.
I rarely give a poor rap, but just had to let others know about this one.

Room Tip: Don't bother. They all seem to be pretty much the same
