A great day trip to truly deserted islands.

Owner Liam was there to see us off and explain itinerary. Normally he says he'd accompany the boat but we had the boat to ourselves (just the two of us) so he left us to it!

After sailing for, ooh, half an hour or so we weighed anchor and snorkelled among some coral. I also did a spot of fishing - I caught a few, but the local deckhand was pulling out a fish every minute.

As it was Chinese New Year we couldn't lunch at the floating village, but instead we had fresh seafood cooked on the beach by our boat captain - probably a better option anyway.

The afternoon was filled with more swimming, snorkelling, and lazing, but we also had a guided hike across one of the islands where we sampled fruits and berries straight off the vine. We also brought some freshly picked papaya back to the "camp" for a snack (dipping salt & papaya - great combo).

All in all a very relaxing day and it was a disappointment to return to the (relative) hustle of Sihanoukville!

Oh, and the music on the boat was good too - a mix of mellow lounge, dub, and non-hippy world music. Nice soundtrack to the day.

Bring: sun cream, swim trunks, a hat (I forgot), footwear for the trek. Food and drink is provided.

Absolutely beautiful trip from Liam & Vanna! Came on my own and loved every minute of it, only part I regret is not staying longer to camp aswell! Vanna, Tess & Amaar are beautiful, friendly hosts, who make you feel constantly happy and safe!

Will be returning in summer 2012,
I highly recommend Adventures Charters Cambodia for a unique experience

“Best boat trip - bar none”

This is a great boat day out and you get to see parts of the Sihanoukville area that you wouldn't normally come across.

Trip includes breakfast of Mango and Banana, snorkelling on a reef, then round the corner of the island for some normal swimming. Next stop is at a fishing village, while the locals prepare a delicious lunch, you can try your hand at fishing. Afterwards there is the option to walk across the island through a mango plantation and jungle followed by another refreshing swim on the other side at the pick up point.

During the last swim, we saw a 'booze cruise' type boat trip - loud music and drunken people packed on like sardines - very pleased not to have ben on that boat!

Only minor criticism, 8am start perhaps a bit on the early side, make it 9 and Ill come again!

“Seclusion. Adventure for those who want it. Chill for those who don't”

This tour is all it is cracked up to be. I went on the day trip with a group of friends and each of us had a blast. We started ith a boat ride and even saw some dolphins (bonus, because I think that's rare) went to a couple beautiful, abesolutely secluded beaches, literally ate to our hearts (or stomach's desire) fresh prepared seafood and got a tan, a short, manageable hike through the jungle and good conversation with Liam, the guide along the way! Truly amazing experience and truly worth the money! This was the best part of my Cambodian experience! Thanks!

Excellent location, people, food, activities, price.... what else could you possibly ask for!? Been living in Cambodia for more than 2 years and this is the best tour I've been on. Both camping and day trips highly recommended.
