We really enjoyed the bakery. It is like whole other world to the bars and clutter outside.

The food was good and not too expensive. There is also a good shop selling various bags and trinkets.

The highlight for us was our waiter who was extremely helpful and when he found out we were teachers asked us to help him with his English homework. He giggled the whole time and enjoyed telling us about how the cafe helps communities.

Definately worth a visit.

“Cool oasis on a hot day”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

Didn't have a meal this time as I had already eaten breakfast at home early. I had been out walking in the morning and needed a drink. Remembered Starfish Bakery so called in there and had a lovely pot of tea and brownie. Tea was lovely and hot and served by a very pleasant young man.
I sat outside on the veranda surrounded by a leafy garden which was extremely pleasant. The young man turned the overhead fan on so it was lovely and cool on a hot morning after walking.
I will return another day to have their salad for lunch.

“Best black coffy in Asia”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

Since it is almost impossible to get good, black coffy in Asia, it was a relief coming here for breakfast. We were served amazing, pure, black, coffy for the first time in a couple of weeks. In addition they serve tasty, homebaked bread, fresh juice, and great brownie. The staff here was also super friendly, and the guy serving us had the best laugh ever. We even got free, stable wifi here, which is always welcome.

If I ever come back to Sihanoukville, I will eat my breakfast here every single day.

There is also a shop were you can buy homemade scarfs and nick nacks which also supports the Starfish foundation.

“Friendly, relaxed, supporting a good cause”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

Sat outdoors and had good sized breakfast at reasonable cost served by the very polite and friendly staff with disabilities who are employed there. Gained additional insights into the growing and harvesting of mangoes from the young man picking fruit in the garden and a free plate of fresh mango to sample! Also offer free wifi and clean restrooms.
